Situated just outside the beautiful Cotswold market town of Winchcombe, Stable Yard Cottages are a group of three well presented holiday cottages and a studio apartment, in a peaceful location. Ideally placed for touring the Cotswolds and the many picturesque towns and villages including Broadway, Chipping Campden, Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh. Cheltenham and its race course are just 5 miles away, while Tewkesbury and Stratford-upon-Avon are just a short drive. Winchcombe has a number of excellent pubs and restaurants. Shops 1/2 mile, pub 1/4 mile.

Ground floor: Dining room/kitchen with slate floor. First floor: Living room with sloping ceiling, wooden floor, sofa bed and bedroom area with double bed and en-suite shower room with toilet.

Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. DVD. Stereo/CD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Shared laundry room with washing machine. Courtyard and furniture. Barbecue. Parking (2 cars). No smoking. No children under 5 years, except babies under 6 months.

  3. Excellent location for Blenheim Palace, Tewkesbury and longer trips to Lacock Village, Bath and Bristol. However don’t forget to visit on the doorstep. Winchcombe is beautiful, Snowshill Manor and Combe Manor ( both National Trust) are off the beaten track, but nearby and well worth a visit, but get there early. The Corner Cupboard pub in Winchcombe has great food, but book for weekend dining. Aug 2011.
