These delightful former farm buildings, set in 100 acres of livestock farm close to the owner’s home, have been converted and equipped to provide good sized holiday accommodation with the disabled in mind, with a riser recliner chair in each property. One of the island’s most popular attractions, Osborne House and Gardens, Queen Victoria’s favourite former residence, is within easy reach via the floating bridge from West Cowes to East Cowes. There are many beaches (sandy or shingle) to explore as well as the breathtaking coastal scenery around the island. Visit Carisbrooke Castle, various wildlife centres, adventure parks, bird and donkey sanctuary, the amazing rock formations of The Needles, many NT Homes, Calbourne Water Mill, pottery making, glass blowing, lilac and garlic farms, as well as many tea rooms. The Heritage Coastline, 150 yards away, offers excellent walking, whilst reed beds make for ideal bird watching. Cowes is great for sailing, whilst the island, renowned for its temperate climate has much to suit all tastes. Shop 4 miles, pub 2 miles.   1. Yes, we were very pleased with the bunglo we stayed in. It was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped & clean but we wished it could’ve been a little bigger with the floor-space, as it was a little difficult to do things in a wheelchair, but otherwise very good. Yes, we probibly will go back there again. Sept 2012.
  2. Lovely setting on farm with view of The Solent. Owner Nigel is so friendly and helpful. We were out all day enjoying ourselves despite a lot of rain, but there is so much to see and do. The cottage was clean and comfortable, all we needed for sleeping,washing and breakfast!! April 2012.

  5. What a lovely farmer and his family. Nothing was too much trouble. I am a less able bodied person and I felt safe enough on this farm to be left when I was not well enough to go out. Nigel will help you with anything you need and is full of knowledge about all sorts of things, like which place to eat that has thought carefully about less mobile people, where to hire equipment, and so much more. I would like to live there forever. June 2011.
  6. Superbly comfortable fully furnished cottage situated in ideal location with close proximity to beach and extensive rural countryside. Particular compliments to "landlord" Nigel Hayward who is an immensely amiable, knowledgeable and most helpful person. Have already recommended this cottage to friends and family - just BRILLIANT!! The owner is an amazing chap, extremely busy, yet extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble for him, he never failed to ask if we needed any help in getting around, he offered to help with all manner of things, the accommodation was up to standard, (& above what we expected for this price range).
