This delightful former stable is set in the owner’s grounds with their working farm further up the lane. It has its own enclosed garden overlooking the beautiful Wiltshire countryside and is less than a mile outside Malmesbury, with its Norman abbey. Ideally situated on the southern end of the Cotswolds with easy access to Castle Combe, one of the prettiest villages in England; Westonbirt Arboretum with its amazing autumnal colours; Lacock and Cirencester. Shops 1 mile, pub ¾ mile.

Spacious, open-plan living/dining room and well-equipped kitchen area with tiled floor. Utility. Double bedroom with en-suite shower room with toilet. Separate toilet. First floor: Two twin bedrooms. Bathroom with separate shower cubicle, toilet and Velux window.

  11. A very comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage. As city dwellers it was great to be able to let the kids out to play in the adjacent field knowing that they were quite safe. The owners were very hospitable and helpful. We would certainly consider staying here again. Aug 2011.

  14. Fabulous location, with every facility we asked for and more. Peaceful and safe for the kids, even on a working farm. Great local amenties and good location centrally for travelling. Owners on hand if required, very friendly. Good pub grub 2-3 miles in Upper Seagry. Visited Bath, Oxford, Cheltenham, Stow on the wold, Bourton on the Water and Lacock. Would love to come again soon.
