This beautiful first floor apartment set in 60 acres of tranquil Cotswold countryside. Ideally located five minutes from Moreton-in-Marsh, a market town dating back over 1700 years, and ten minutes from Stow-on-the-Wold. Also a short walk from Chastleton House, a Jacobean house built in the 1600s. This is also the perfect location for equine enthusiasts and horse lovers, as it is ideally located for the Cheltenham Races. The owners also run a popular riding school offering lessons on site, and guests are welcome to book rides and treks, at additional cost. Guests are also welcome to bring their own horse if required (stabling available, £10 per night Oct-Apr, £15 per night Nov-Mar). Shop and restaurant 3 miles, pub 1 mile.

  3. The apartment was cosy and compact and had everything that was needed. It was warm and we appreciated the range of DVDs for the wet days. It was pleasant being on a farm and the cockrell didn’t bother us too much. We were really close to loads of great places to visit - Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, Blenheim Palace... Oct 2011.
  4. Great apartment for two people, great views and very well positioned for the Cotswolds. We had researched the Cotswold Path Circular walks before going on holiday and found these to be extremely good as well as knackering. Sept 2011.
  5. Lovely spot. lovely apartment. Key left in door as we arrived, had to find owner. She said hello and we never saw her again. She just said if you want anything you know where i am. Wasn’t until the morning we left that we realised that we could have bought eggs from the farm. She never came and said goodbye. But it was good for ecxploring the area. Would have liked to be able to sit out as it was in 60 acres and there wasn’t an area outside to sit. June 2011.
  6. The property was small but very cosy, ideal for a couple, the Lanlord was very nice and and did not bother you but let you enjoy your stay in peace. If your intention is to get away from the madness of city life we found this to be a perfect retreat complete with modern facilities. Based on an operational farm we had a lovely stay. My only regret was we never saw the landlord before we left to thank her. April 2011.
  7. Set within the grounds of a working farm/riding school the stable apartment is a delight. It is small, but perfectly formed. The accommodation is to a very good standard and I would highly recommend it. The location is beautiful, the farm sits almost on it’s own within the beautiful Cotswold countryside, a few miles from Morton-in-Marsh, comfortably located for visiting nearby villages such as Stow-on-the-wold, Bourton-on-the-water and The Slaughters.
