Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Loveley cottage full of character. Plenty of kitchen pans and utensals. DVD player bit fussy on eject. Dont take too much luggage like we did. Bed very comfortable and loved looking out of sea view window in top room. July 2012.
  2. A very small but comfy cottage, close to beach. March 2012.
  3. Very compact small typical Fishermans cottage. (Would not suit anyone on the large side). Everything you could possibly need and more, so a little cluttered. Chairs could be more comfortable for when sitting in watching television but overall a very enjoyable stay. Beds very comfortable! Oct 2011.
  4. Ideal location for a relaxing break. July 2011.
  5. This is a lovely cottage, even nearer the sea than the description suggests. We enjoyed having a real fire and having the many and varied walks on the doorstep. Leave your car at the top of the hill if you can - the descent is extremely steep. April 2011.
  6. The property was situated in the centre of Robin Hood’s Bay, a few minutes walk from the pub. Though very small it had every thing that we needed. Nov 2010.
  7. Modern enough to make your stay comfortable, but unchanged enough to retain its old world charm. Aug 2010.
  8. The property was very sweet, really enjoyed the open fire. March 2010.
  9. Well equipped inspite of being little (but couldnt find a frying pan), comfy, snug, good location, nice books/pictures/games etc. Nov 2009.
  10. Clean and well presented. Sept 2009.
  11. It was like a perfect little doll’s house - just right for 2 people to stay in. It was well equipped and clean. It is so close to the sea with wonderful views from the top floor. Aug 2009.
  12. Small but very cosy and very good location. July 2009.
  13. St Robert’s Chantry is a delightful, traditional fishermen’s cottage, in the perfect location just a few yards from the quay, pub and beach, an ideal choice for exploring Robin Hood’s Bay and the surrounding area. With the added bonus of car access for unloading, and a parking permit for the nearby car park, we would not hesitate to recommend this property, and feel sure that we will be returning. May 2009.
