This delightful ground floor holiday apartment, situated in the wing of the owners detached villa, benefits from a private entrance and terrace, air conditioning and a shared swimming pool (5 x 10m; depth 0.5-1.4m). It is hard to believe that you are right in the centre of the chic town of St Rèmy de Provence, within easy walking distance from all facilities, numerous bar, cafés and not forgetting the bustling Wednesday market. Maussane-les-Alpilles is 10km, Eygalières with its gourmet restaurants is 12km and Arles is 6km. Shop 150m, café/bar 300m, restaurant 200m, beach 65km.

All on ground floor: Lounge/kitchen/diner, shower room with toilet and basin, separate toilet, 1 double bedroom, double sofa bed in lounge.

Reversible air conditioning, €30 supplement for fuel and power, bed linen and towels included in rent, cot, highchair, colour TV (French channels only), washing machine, dishwasher, freezer, microwave, shared lawned garden, terrace, patio, garden furniture, barbecue, off road parking for 1 car. One pet welcome.

  1. Perfectly located very close to the centre of the lovely town of St Remy. Extremely well-equipped for self-catering. Not one for people who like a view (the only outlook is onto the fence and gate). Do be aware that although the visitors’ guide in the property says that 30 euro cleaning is payable if you do not wish to clean, we left the property immaculate and still had to pay 30 euro so do not waste your last morning as we did making the property spotless. Sept 2011.
  2. This was a lovely place to stay, with every convenience. The pool was great after a day out in the heat. The Wednesday market in St. Remy is not to be missed! The property is excellently situated within easy walking distance of the town, yet quiet and secluded. Just what we wanted! May 2011.
  3. The property was spotlessly clean, and everything was in order on our arrival. There was no garden access, but in summer we could have used the owner’s pool and that part of the garden. Actually we were out and about so much that we didn’t miss access to a garden. It was very close to shops and the village centre. There was secure off-street parking as well. Oct 2010.
  4. Very handy for the centre of St Remy. Pleasantly temperate in late September with no need for heating or air conditioning. Space (all on one floor) quite adequate for two people but could take four who know each other well. Pleasant sun trap at front of house, with small table, also roller sunshade in front of French windows. The parking space is also at the front - a large car could be difficult to park as one enters at an angle. Owner and caretaker very friendly; it is essential to speak French to them. They held back 30 Euros of the 100 deposit as the cleaning charge - not optional! Sept 2010.

  6. Fantastic location, really near to the cafe’s/bars of St Remy but still a very quiet street. Also close to the Roman ruins and walks in the Alps. Good sized and well equipped kitchen. July 2010.

  8. Good provision of linen. Clean and attractive. Comfortable. Utilities very good (washing machine, air conditioning, dish washer). Kitchen equipment good - wide range - enough for all needs. Swimming pool very good. Aug 2009.
  9. The accommodation was very close to the town and convenient for shops and restuarants. Very nice pool and friendly owners. Brush up on your french if English as they don’t speak any. June 2009.
  10. We enjoyed using the shared pool, although guests do not have the use of the pool on Sunday and Wednesday afternoon. The appliances were all new. The owners were very nice and made us feel welcome. June 2009.

If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
