Within easy reach of the coast in the bay of Mont St. Michel, with many pleasant walks to be done along the spectacular shoreline known for its seafood farms and record breaking low tides, this attractively restored semi-detached holiday property makes an excellent touring base.

The cottage combines traditional Breton furniture with all the modern comforts, and the back garden and terrace provide a quiet setting for evening barbecues.

The World Heritage Site of Mont St Michel is spectacular and worth more than one day out while Cancale, with its picturesque port, sheltered beaches and majestic cliffs is just 24km away.

Shop 9km, café/bar 5km, restaurant 6km, beach 24km.

Ground floor: Lounge/kitchen/diner, separate toilet and basin. First floor: Shower room with toilet and basin, 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin.

Electric heating, all fuel and power included in rent, cot, highchair, stereo/CD player, washing machine, freezer, microwave, private lawned garden, terrace, garden furniture, barbecue, off road parking for 2 cars. Sorry, no pets.

  1. A lovely property in a quiet location, but ideal for exploring the region by car, as easy access to Mont Saint Michel, Saint Malo and Rennes. Very friendly owners who gave us home grown tomatoes, homemade cider and a local speciality prune pudding called a ’Far Breton’. Well equipped for kitchen for self-catering and barbecue available too. Highly recommended, we had a great holiday. July 2011.

  4. Very clean and well maintained, ideal for families. Location is very rural in a small farming hamlet which is very peaceful but may be a little remote for some. A car is essential to get to shops, restaurants etc. The owners are extremely helpful and gave us lovely fresh tomatoes and cherries from their garden. July 2010.
  5. A great introduction to the French way of life, we especially enjoyed the markets and Mont St Michel lit up in the evening. Great and peaceful location, beautiful countryside and easy access to main tourist towns. Good cooking facilities. Aug 2009.
  6. The keyholder neighbours were extremely welcoming - a cake was waiting for us on our arrival and we left with cider and honey they had made themselves. This all added to the general ambiance of the property. Aug 2009.

If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
