  1. The cottage was cosy and in a beautiful village location. We came home very relaxed. June 2012.
  2. A perfect, cosy little getaway - a beautiful renovated cottage which I definitely want to go back to. Quiet spot but everything was in walking distance, a couple of nice and friendly pubs in the village, well stocked shop and post office... and we recommend you visit the brewery and take the tour! The cottage was a delight - warm and comfortable, perfect for 2, and we felt very much at home. Loved the rayburn - you just need to be organised! The only thing I could possibly suggest would be a welcome pack of milk, bread, butter, tea bags etc... would have been that extra special touch which would have made it perfect. Picky perhaps? Feb 2012.
  3. Lovely cottage, great location. Whole area very dog friendly. Think you mentioned it but you really need to plan ahead to cook on the Rayburn! Cottage has everything you need. Oct 2011.
  4. Very cosy and quiet with very friendly and helpful locals. Great pubs all within walking distance with good food. Very helpful owner when contacting to discuss entry arrangements. We were both reluctant to leave and plan to go again. Liked it so much we are planning to move there. Aug 2011.
  5. We had an amazing holiday. The cottage is in an idyllic setting and is a perfect size for two and a dog. The decor is lovely and very well equipped. The weather couldn’t have been better and we loved going to the local pub for food and refreshment! The location is excellent for day trips, so many interesting places are only 40 minutes away. July 2011.
  6. My wife and I were very pleased with Squirrel Cottage. The village was very convenient (multiple pubs - with excellent food) and a very good village store. Driving in the immediate area of the Cottage was pretty good - especially for an overseas visitor driving on the "wrong" side of the road. The next door neighbours were very helpful when we had some unexpected trouble with our cell phone and had to switch to email to try and straighten it out. July 2011.
  7. Nice location. Pet owners, good walks. people friendly and helpfull. Disadvantage steps upto garden and having to walk through adjoined gardens. June 2011.
  8. Lovely cottage in a quiet village. Good pubs close by. Good central location for visiting surrounding villages and towns. May 2011.
  9. This is a nice cottage in a lovely, quiet, village location. It’s an ideal location from which to explore the Cotswolds. The Rayburn is tricky and requires a lot of forward planning so we ended up eating our main meal at lunchtime whilst we were out and about. Otherwise, the cottage is well equipped and laid out. April 2011.
  10. It was clean and modern and felt very homely. Dec 2010.
  11. Central location within the village. Dec 2010.
  12. This property was extremely well appointed, nicely decorated and very clean. It is also in a great location in a nice village and has a few extra nice touches such as the log burner and the rayburn. Nov 2010.
  13. Location was great, quaint cottage. Oct 2010.
  14. Cosy cottage in great location, on quiet street. Needed up dating with in property info; especially in dealing with the Rayburn. No firewood to start. The main couch really needs replacing but the bed was excellent. Sept 2010.
  15. The cottage was lovely, peaceful, quiet, and what I needed to get away from the business world. Sept 2010.
  16. The location of the cottage in Hook Norton was fantastic. A beautiful part of the Cotswolds, never needed to leave the town really as so pretty!!! July 2010.
  17. High standard in kitchen, utility room and bathroom. July 2010.
