Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Very good holiday. Sept 2012.
  2. With spectacular views over The Cotswolds and proximity to lovely walks The Bolthole is a secluded delight. Own transport most definitely needed as closest shopping is a few miles away in Dursley. Conveniently situated for Bristol, Gloucester and Slimbridge Wetlands Wildlife Centre. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. July 2011.
  3. The property is well off the beaten track with lovely views across the M5 and river Seven to the Forest of Dean and the hills of Wales in the far distance. June 2011.
  4. It has lovely views and a beautiful garden which was just bursting into spring all over. The field next door had a dozen or so lambs a real assortment, they were a pleasure to watch, didn’t realise they could be such fun. The Bolt Hole was warm and cosy and an ideal place to reach surrounding countryside ie. Gloucester, Bourton on the Water, Stow in the Wold, Forest of Dean, even Wales Tiltern Abbey ruins a must. Just wish we had had more time,we were very lucky the weather was beautiful (the end of March). March 2011.
  5. Quiet location, ideal for the cotswold way, excellent views. Sept 2010.
  6. Very clean and modern! Heating was great and the place overall has a nice feel to it. Fantastic views from the Bothole. Great place!! Dec 2010.
  7. This is a lovely location and all the items and appliances were top quality. A real pleasure. Oct 2010.
  8. It was a great little Bolt hole, it stayed cool even when the tempratures soared. We were allowed to leave our little dog running free in the property when it was too hot to take him out in the car. June 2010.
  9. Fitted the description. Beautiful views and peace and quiet. April 2010.
  10. Clean and bright. Welcoming (fresh flowers and chocs) fabulous views which were a surprise. Added small touches. March 2010.
  11. Beautifully located near to the Cotswolds Way. March 2010.
  12. Very comfortable and extremely peaceful with great views from the property windows. It had easy access to the local countryside and to local and national footpaths. The property is not really ’close to a pub’ as the nearest is really 5-10 minute drive. Mar 2010.
  13. Welcoming, warm & comfortable, excellent views and superb immediate access to woodland walks. Very safe for my dog who was also able to wander round the garden freely. The only negative was that we did know that there was plenty of local info, brochures etc in the cupboard! Feb 2010.
  14. Met the owner on arrival - very pleasant and welcoming. Very clean inside, beautiful gardens and fantastic views. June 2009.
  15. Clean, light and airy, lovely views, owner very helpful and obliging. June 2009.
  16. Lovely. June 2009.
  17. Lovely little get away. The owners are pleasant and leave you to your own doing, yet are very approachable. The cottage is well situated to all local tourist areas. Nov 2008.
  18. It was brilliant, only additions that would be useful were cleaning things like a washing up brush or sponge, especially on a weekend booking when you are not there long. Hot water failed and a cold shower was the result on the second day, but the owners were apologetic and if we had been there longer would have put it right. June 2006.
