Property Description

Set on the unspoilt Lizard peninsula, is this holiday property, part of a complex, which has been converted from a fine Edwardian hotel and enjoys an outstanding location on Chynhalls Point, with magnificent views out to sea. Amid large, attractive gardens and grounds, this property enjoys a sandy beach and shared outdoor tennis court. Guests can enjoy wonderful coastal walks in this beautiful, peaceful area, which is protected by the NT. The path leads down to the fishing village of Coverack, with its shops, restaurants and pub. Here you can enjoy sandy and shingle beaches, deep sea fishing and wind-surfing lessons, all within ½ mile. Visit Roskillys Farm, famed for their cream and ice cream, or visit Goonhilly satellite station, 3 miles. The Mullion 18-hole golf course is 9 miles away, and there are plenty of coves and beaches within easy reach. An excellent site for bird watching and rare wild flowers. This is a well-placed holiday base from which to explore.

  9. The best thing about this property was the view. Kitchen equipment was fair, not nearly as well equipped as other properties we have stayed in. There was a problem with the hot water heater timer which was intermitant, the caretaker was very nice and really tried to, get it to work for us. Sept 2009.

  11. To be away from the usual holiday madness of rides and attractions at beaches helped this holiday to be very family friendly. There was enough things to do and we will be back again to visit the area and finish off the sightseeing. Well proportioned rooms with the extra homely comforts of toys for children and a nice welcome pack. Leaflets and money offers for local attractions were also left. Aug 2009.
  12. Fantastic location with excellent views out to sea. The accommodation was presented very well with a very high level of furnishings. It is on the top floor so stairs are to climb. It was not a problem for us and it did enhance the views. Feb 2009.

  16. The views from the living room windows were spectacular. The adults and children in our party had a great time watching the various sea going vessels, especially the local fisherman pulling in their mackerel. All this whilst we were eating breakfast! May 2006.
