In the extensive grounds of the owner’s 15-acres home, 1 mile from the old market and rope town of Bridport, and 2 miles from the beautiful famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast and Chesil Beach, which is 17 miles long, these 3 terraced converted barns, are excellent holiday accommodations to explore and enjoy this popular corner of Dorset. Enjoy the beautiful fenced wildlife lake within the grounds. Locally one can enjoy country walks, golf, and stunning scenic coastal walks along the Heritage Coast and along the seafront stretching down to Lyme Regis, fossil hunting, swimming, boating and sea fishing. Visit the seaside resorts of West Bay with its quaint harbour and not to forget the TV series of Broadchurch. Visit Eype, Charmouth and of course Lyme Regis with its beach, famous Cobb, picturesque harbour and shops, or Weymouth with its many attractions, Abbotsbury Swannery and much more. You will have a wealth of places, sights and attractions to visit, including inland, Sherborne with its abbey and castles, Cricket St Thomas Wildlife Park, Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum and many historic houses and gardens, such as Forde Abbey and Montacute. Each property has it’s own private sitting out area with furniture. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 1/2 miles.

  5. Comer Hill is a modern holiday let with good quality accommodation in a semi-rural setting close to the A34. There is some road noise in the distance but not excessive or intrusive. Our children found the grounds were a great place to play and enjoyed the trampoline, swing and throwing the ball for Casey the lovely owners pet spaniel. Overall we had an excellent holiday and will consider returning in 2013 as we are not planning a UK holiday in 2012. Aug 2011.

  7. Cottage in good location, nearby pub Mason Arms offering good quality food. Convenient for public transport into Skipton so you dont have to use your car all the time. June 2011.
  8. This peaceful farm location made a great base to explore Dorset from. West bay itself had everything you could ask for for a young family, not too keen on crowds and amusement arcades. We weren’t very lucky with the weather getting 4 cold damp days in a row, but found loads of indoors places to visit not too far away.
