Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Spotless, comfy property, well equipped and close to shop, pub and beach. Very dog friendly area, plenty of good walks and beaches nearby. Don’t miss chip shop at end of road. Quiet area with friendly locals. Good base for exploring the Lake District. Oct 2012.
  2. Small but perfectly formed! Very clean, well equipped (except no washer)and good quality fittings and furnishings. Neighbours very friendly, local chippy and pubs good (pub food basic). Close to beach, RSPB reserve and easy access to Coniston and Southern Lakes etc. Good value for money for the Jubilee holiday weekend. Will certainly visit the Cumbria coast again but will probably base ourselves nearer Whitehaven/St Bees. June 2012.
  3. The house was spotless. Really quiet location. Close to the beach and a nature reserve. Shops and pub close by. April 2012.
  4. Our holiday at silverdale in Haverigg was magic! The cottage was immaculate in every way with more than everything we needed. This was our second visit here to this property and it won’t be our last, hopefully again later this year. Thanks for a wonderful time. Jan 2012.
  5. Cottage was very quiet, the gardens were lovely. What we missed was a washing machine, and no launderette in the Village, if you were staying for 2 weeks, it would be a real problem. It also could do with a drainer for the washing up. Nov 2011.
  6. Quiet location, very clean. Arrival package was a surprise. Will book for full several days next time. Oct 2011.
  7. Well equipped property, clean and nice welcome pack. Sept 2011.
  8. Excellant property and a fantastic chippy just across the road. Really happy with our stay here, hope to be back there sometime. Haverigg is a truly lovely quiet place and the locals are really friendly. Overall a great holiday. July 2011.
  9. Lovely cottage, quite small but very comfortable. Was very clean and the owner left a lovely welcome pack. June 2011.
  10. When you first drive into the lane and see the property you may be a little disappointed but once inside it is very welcoming, exceptionally clean and added is a welcome tray that is an extra special touch. June 2011.
  11. Very nice property, very cosy and well presented, owners have done a really good job, at first it looks like the area is a little run down but the neighbours and local residents are really friendly and nice, really close to pubs, shop, post office and sea front. May 2011.
  12. Everything waited for us ready. We were delighted to spend the time in that small (that is what I love most) romantic, comfortable; near few shops, pubs, f&c.. everything you need to spend time with partner or family; definitely Home from Home :) April 2011.
  13. Lovely little cottage down narrow side street in small seaside location. Coniston Water & Windermere both easily accessible. Great to visit Ravensglass to Dalegarth Railway & Muncaster Castle. We found the fridge in the property a little small for 4 adults. Just managed to get food we had taken in. April 2011.
