Property Description

Set in the peaceful hamlet of Murcot, midway between Evesham and Broadway, these holiday cottages are ideally located for exploring the many Cotswold towns and villages including Chipping Campden and Stow-on-the-Wold. Walking or cycling from the door to nearby villages or perhaps you prefer the challenge of walking the Cotswold Way. Visit Oxford, the city of spires. There are several National Trust properties and gardens, including Hidcote Manor Garden and Snowshill Manor and Garden. Stratford-upon-Avon, Cheltenham, swimming, riding and golf nearby. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 11/2 miles. Properties 13272 and 25392 (350 yards apart) can be booked together to accommodate 8 guests.

Ground floor: Living room/dining area/kitchen. Beams and flagstone floor throughout. Utility room. Separate toilet. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite shower room with toilet and Velux, 1 twin with Velux and en-suite bathroom with toilet. Oak floors throughout.

Oil central heating (underfloor on ground floor) included. CD. Freezer. Garden with patio and furniture. Use of owner’s garden on request. No children under 3 years. NB: Unfenced brook in grounds.

Both properties: Woodburner in living room (fuel £4 per bag). Electricity, bed linen and towels included. Freeview TV. DVD and small library. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Dishwasher. Parking (2 cars). No smoking.

Beautiful place, peaceful and quiet... but only 5 minutes drive to some lovely restuarants and bars... the property was very clean, very comfortable, a really warm welccome from a lovely owner, who would do anything to make you feel at home, but at the same time gave you your own privacy as well... a great place to stay, really loved it and the surroundig area, particually the village of broadway was fantastic for chilling out in the evenings, for great food and drink at reasonable prices!!   18. We were invited to use the owner’s garden, her patio area and even her outside dining table to have our tea! The property itself is spacious and delightful. We were a little concerned that it might be a touch remote but this was not at all a problem and 3 miles saw us in Broadway. It was perfect for visiting different places. June 2010.
