Property Description

50 yards from the harbour

Only 50 yards from the harbour of a friendly fishing village, this traditional terraced cottage offers holiday accommodation in a popular tourist location. Seahouses offers many amenities, including an array of cafes, pubs and shops. There is a splendid golf course on the links close by and fishing and boat trips to the Farne Islands, famous for its bird sanctuaries and seal colony, depart regularly. Bamburgh, dominated by its magnificent castle and well known for its vast expanse of golden sandy beaches is only 3 miles along this beautiful unspoilt coastline. The village itself has several historical buildings and museums to visit. The tranquil and rural setting is a great place to relax as well as being an excellent base from which to tour Northumberland. Shop and restaurant 100 yards, pub 150 yards.

Electric central heating, electricity and bed linen included. Video. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Parking (1 car). No smoking.

  6. Comfortable base for visiting areas around Seahouses and Northumberland. Chairs in lounge area not very comfortable to it on for long. Kitchen could do with some oven gloves! (We had to buy our own during our visit). Sept 2009.
