Magnificent views out to sea

These holiday properties are set on the unspoilt Lizard Peninsula, and have been converted from a fine Edwardian hotel. They enjoy an outstanding location on Chynhalls Point, with magnificent views out to sea. Amid large, attractive gardens and grounds, the complex enjoys its own sandy beach and outdoor tennis court. You can enjoy wonderful coastal walks in this beautiful, peaceful area which is protected by the National Trust. A path leads down to the fishing village of Coverack, with its shops, restaurant and pub. Here you can enjoy sandy and shingle beaches, deep sea fishing and windsurfing lessons, all within ½ mile. Visit Roskillys Farm, famed for their cream and ice cream, or visit Goonhilly satellite station, 3 miles. The Mullion 18-hole golf course is 9 miles away, and there are plenty of coves and beaches within easy reach. An excellent site for bird watching and rare wild flowers. The apartments have been superbly converted to provide a good standard of holiday accommodation, with Stanwick (ref B5020) and Flat 10 (ref 24362) having spectacular sea views, they are ideal for couples and families alike. This is a well-placed holiday base from which to explore.

Seaview is an end terrace, two storey house set slightly to the side of the main apartment building. Ground floor: Living room. Dining room/kitchen with ceramic tiled floor. First floor: 3 bedrooms: 1 double, 2 single. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Video. Stereo/CD. Fridge/freezer. Private rear patio leading to communal grounds of 81/2-acres.

All properties: NSH, electricity and bed linen included. Electric cooker. Microwave. Shared coin-operated laundry room. Shared payphone. Access to large grounds with attractive gardens, furniture and sandy beach. Parking. Shared tennis court. NB: There is a pond in the grounds, 150 yards. NB: Significant drops in grounds.

  1. Make the most of the coast path and other footpaths. We found a wonderful sculpture park not too far away. March 2012.
  2. We came out of season and there was an issue with heating but how could you complain with a private beach (de facto) fifty feet away which the dogs loved. This is a Daphne du Maurier location for those who wish to escape and the owners have an integral responsibility to their tenants. I left a lap top there and at her own expense the owner returned it. Great for people with dogs. Wonderful views. You feel completely removed from day to day life. Excellent. Jan 2012.

  10. The welcoming pack together with the flowers in each room was a lovely thought. The views from the property were stunning. The grounds were well kept and the footpaths from the property onto the headland and down to the beach made for lovely walks with the dog. The weather was fantastic, so we did not need to spend too much money on entertainment. Overall we felt the holiday was good value for money, a quiet secluded location enabled us to relax all week.   13. The cottage was really cosy with tea, coffee, cakes, flowers and milk waiting for us. The views were fantastic and we would love to have stayed longer. We hope to visit. March 2008.
  14. Everything was more than satisfactory and we had no problems. A very pleasant stay indeed. The only thing I might suggest is that there are more suggestions for places to eat... didn’t find "the Paris" up to scratch as far as food was concerned. But all in all a VERY enjoyable holiday.
