Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. A great location for touring the ilse of Skye and great for watching wildlife from the lounge window. Dec 2012.
  2. We were greeted by Mick and Jackie - the owners, who were very pleasant and showed us around the property. The property was very clean and very well proportioned with fantastic views over the bay from the lounge and bedroom. We ate in the cottage every night and made use of all of the well-equipped kitchen. The beds are very comfortable and a very good size. There is a pressurised water system within the property which means a great shower. May 2012.
  3. Cottage facilities excellent, nothing was too much trouble for the owners, lovely to be able to use the garden overlooking the bay. Fantastic view! Suitable for fairly independent wheelchair user. April 2012.
  4. The best cottage we have ever stayed at. March 2012.
  5. Great cottage - everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable holiday. Home from home. Wonderful views and local amenities. Oct 2011.
  6. This is a fantastic cottage with everything you need. The added bonus was the telescope to watch all the sealife. As I visit Skye every year the weather doesn’t disappoint me....we had 6 days rain and 1 day beautiful but the whole holiday was great. The owners are there should you need them but otherwise you don’t see them. What might be of some help is a list of eating places on the island where dogs are allowed inside when the weather is bad. Arriba in Portree and The Watermill just along the road from the cottage allowed us to take our small spaniel inside. A great holiday. Oct 2011.
  7. The cottage was even better than the photographs! They had thought of everything you may need, area maps, walking books, telescope, DVD’s, games, welcome tray, bikes and more. Location was very excellent for supermarket and restaurants. It was an hour drive from some of our favourite walks,Coral beaches, Talisker beach, Fairy pools and Old Man of Storr. So if intending to walk only in the north of the island it could be a long drive each day. We enjoyed eating at Claymores (200m) from cottage, Creelers and Duisdale Hotel (bar area). Unless you want to be away from it all you will not be disappointed with this coattage. July 2011.
  8. Absolutely beautiful! July 2011.
  9. The cottage was of a very high standard and very comfortable. An ideal location for exploring both north and south of the island and local amenities such as supermarket and petrol station within walking distance of the property. The owners who lived next door were very welcoming and friendly. May 2011.
  10. One of the best properties I have ever stayed in, it was clean, comfortable, lots of extra touches and wonderful views. March 2011.
  11. Seabird cottage provides excellent accommodation and felt like a home from home. Dec 2010.
  12. Seabird cottage was in a fabulous location, looking straight out onto the sea. The view was framed with a beautiful arched window in the living room. The cottage was immaculately decorated and furnished throughout. Mike and Jackie were friendly and welcoming, there was a welcome tray set out for us on arrival, and also a small welcome plate for Samson our dog, which was much appreciated! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking on the Isle of Skye for a holiday location. Nov 2010.
  13. Beautiful location. Warm and welcoming property. Nov 2010.
  14. We loved Seabird Cottage so much that we would have liked to have moved it back home to live in ! Jackie and Mick were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Oct 2010.
  15. Lovely friendly owners, great views across Broadford Bay, well equipped warm house. Oct 2010.
  16. A stunning property in an outstanding location by the bay. The interior was extremely well equipped and furnished. The owners were exceptional with their care and consideration. Sept 2010.
  17. Beautifully clean and well equipped. Sept 2010.
  18. Very well appointed and clean. Extremely well equipped. July 2010.
  19. Like 2008......... it was a dream! June 2010.
  20. Modern fit out, views, on-suit bathroom, telescope. May 2010.
