Property Description

Located in Kilworth village on the Avondhu Way walking route, this holiday lodge lies within 1km of a wooded picnic area and is adjacent to shops, pubs and a theatre. Leisure activities include a children’s playground, a pitch ’n’ putt and floodlit tennis courts all within walking distance. Fermoy town, 5km, offers golf, a driving range, fishing on Blackwater as well as horse riding, cinema and a variety of restaurants. The Heritage town of Lismore is twenty minutes away, as is Cork. Other places of interest include the Galtee mountain range and Mitchelstown Caves.

Ground floor: Large living/dining room/kitchen. Conservatory. Open tread stairs to first floor: 4 bedrooms: 2 double, one with en-suite shower room and toilet, 2 single. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Solid fuel stove (initial fuel included). Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. High chair. Satellite TV. DVD recorder. CD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Tumble dryer. Dishwasher. Fridge/freezer. Enclosed lawned garden with patio. Parking (2 cars).

  6. The house is closer to the village than the web site shows. Its in the village & a short walk to pubs & a supermarket. Its child friendly as there is a walled garden for them to play in. It was the best equipped holiday house I have stayed in. There were all the kitchen stuff you needed. Bottle openers/cork screws/scissors/bread knives etc which are usually missing! April 2011.

  9. Unbelievably awesome condition of the cottage, great space and solid location. Plenty of space for 6 people and 1 infant, very up-to-date accommodation. Hidden gem in small town, only 30-40 minutes from Cork, 30 minutes from caves, on the Avondu walk so great for outside enthusiasts or touring Co Cork. Family friendly town with play-yard 2 minutes walk, grocery shopping just 15 minute drive to Fermoy. Feb 2011.
