Set in the small village of Spittall wtih direct access onto Spittal promenade and the long sandy beaches, this contemporary ground floor holiday apartment provides a very comfortable retreat whatever the season, with fantastic sea views from the floor to ceiling picture window in the living room, and the main bedroom. With a good variety of eating places in the historic, Elizabethan walled town of Berwick, 2 miles. Visit Holy Island, 15 miles, or take a boat trip to the Farne Islands from Seahouses. Castles and gardens in Bamburgh and Alnwick. Promendade café 500 yards. Shop and pub 530 yards, restaurant ½ mile.

All on ground floor: Living/dining room. Kitchen. 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin. Shower room with toilet.

Gas central heating included (£30per week October-April). Electricity, bed linen and towels included. DVD. CD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Enclosed garden with patio and furniture. Parking (1 car). No smoking. NB: Promenade and fenced sea wall to front of property.

  1. This property was fabulous - small but perfectly formed! Well appointed and comfortable. Super sea views, always something to watch whether the waves or people and dogs. For us a good base with plenty of places to visit. We would come back to this appartment. Oct 2011.
  2. Wonderful to be able to walk along the prom and onwards into Berwick. Although the kitchen seems small a little juggling about (putting away items not necessarily used at the time to give more ’workspace’ is easily done.) Just innovate! It’s a gem of an appartment. Sept 2011.
