Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Lovely location, quiet, there is a railway line quite close to the house, but it is not very busy. Comfortable beds. Oct 2012.
  2. The cottage was very clean and in a good position. The furniture was comfortable and rooms bright and airy. The position was very attractive and quiet. April 2012.
  3. We really enjoyed our stay at Rushcroft Cottage. Local pub recently refurbished, very nice food served. Dogs welcome. Very peaceful location, right on the edge of the New Forest. Accommodation so lovely, would definitely return. Feb 2012.
  4. Nice location, clean cottage. Site wardens very helpful. August 2011.
  5. Very friendly and helpful owners. An excellent stock of local interest books and resources within the apartment. July 2011.
  6. Well presented, well equipped and very clean, it surpassed our expectations. Dec 2010.
  7. Very clean, spacious, dog friendly, good base in easy reach of beaches, forest walks, and all other necessary amenities. Nov 2010.
  8. Very private, very dog friendly which was the reason for booking this particular property. Nov 2010.
  9. Liked that is was on one level, was open plan kitchen & lounge area. July 2010.
  10. Property was well appointed and very clean. It was in a very pleasant village and in an excellent position for us to explore the New Forest. I would recommend to our friends. July 2010.
  11. It was exactly as described on the website. June 2010.
  12. The location was excellent, with everything we could possibly want provided and everything was clean and in good condition. June 2010.
  13. The accommodation was very spacious. The master bed was massive and it was easy to lose two people in it. It was incredibly quiet at night and the night sky was so clear, the stars shone with a radiance long forgotten by those of us unfortunate enough to live in cities. April 2010.
  14. Clean, tidy, bright decor. Feb 2010.
  15. Lovely and spacious. Excellent for our 2 dogs as had a back patio. Felt homely. Nov 2009.
  16. The totally enclosed courtyard/patio was the most useful area when you have 2 dogs. The open plan layout gave a large area where dog beds could be left down all day. Oct 2009.
  17. Cosy, spacious, lovely surroundings and quiet. Furnished to a good standard. Few cobwebs but it was once a barn so not unexpected! Sept 2009.
  18. Large, airy, bright kitchen/living room area which the photographs don’t really do justice. We found the furniture and kitchen equipment more than adequate. With young children the close proximity to Sway railway station was their favourite thing - not too close so that the trains keep you awake at night, but only a five minute walk to be able to stand on the foot-bridge and wave at the train drivers who obligingly wave, sometimes flash their headlights, and if you’re very lucky, frighten you by blowing their horn! Oct 2009.
  19. Good space in the outside yard to keep dogs contained. Friendly owners. Nice cottage with good space. Pub close by, easy access to cycle track. Good sized open plan living accommodation. The enclosed back was excellent for keeping the dogs out of the cottage, but safely contained. July 2009.
  20. Property is spacious and nicely laid out. June 2009.
