This delightful semi-detached house is part of a 17th century fortified farmhouse. It has a large lounge/diner with a cosy fireplace, which overlooks the terrace with a wonderful view of the park.

Located in the country fields, this is a great place to go walking or biking.

Visit Caen, only 15 miles (24km), home of William the Conqueror’s Castle and abbeys, with great shopping facilities, or spend the day at the horse races.

Shop, café/bar and restaurant 3 miles (5km), beach 25 miles (40km).

Lower ground floor: Games room. Ground floor: Lounge/diner, second lounge, kitchen, separate toilet. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath, bidet, toilet and basin, 1 twin plus folding single bed.

Oil central heating, glass-fronted fire in lounge (fuel at cost), all other fuel and power at cost, bed linen and towels included in rent, cot, colour TV, DVD player, stereo/CD player, incoming telephone, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, shared lawned garden, patio, garden furniture, barbecue, off road parking for 1 car. One pet welcome. NB: Water feature in garden.

  3. You are looking for a quiet country location this property is ideal. The rooms are huge and extremely well appointed with antique furniture and many original features. The garden is extensive with its own orchard and guests have their own terrace with furniture and barbecue. The lady owner speaks English well and is very helpful with local knowledge. There is easy driving access to towns and cities of historical interest and plenty to do and see in the area. May 2012.

Everything you need for a quiet relaxing holiday Tips - be prepared to travel its quite a distance to shops/cafes etc great for the D-Day tours most of which within an hour..The farm even has original 1944 bullet holes!
