Many outdoor activities

This spacious, architect designed, single-storey, detached holiday property overlooks the Gareloch and hills to the north and is set in a quiet, rural location. The bungalow faces to the south-west and the large windows ensure this property receives good light. Nearby, there is a launching slip on the Gareloch for water sports. This is an ideal location from which to explore one of Scotland’s most picturesque areas with excellent outdoor activities to be enjoyed including walking, cycling, fishing, ponytrekking and water sports nearby, as well as the West Highland Way and numerous hill and mountain walks. There is also easy access to golf courses including the Loch Lomond championship course. About 3 miles away is Helensburgh with shops, supermarket, pubs and coffee shops, and the Waverly paddle steamer calls in at Helensburgh pier during the summer. Hill House (NTS) is in Helensburgh, designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1904 and is open to the public, blending Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau, Scottish Baronial and Japonisme architecture and design. Glasgow is 40 minutes and Edinburgh 1½ hours by car and direct train. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
