The bungalow faces to the south-west and the large windows ensure this property receives good light, and guests can enjoy the summer’s sun with the enclosed, private sitting-out area with its stone table and barbecue. The enclosed garden area with a flat lawn is suitable for pets and children to play. From the property is a gate that leads to the attached field with woods and a burn, ideal for walking from the doorstep and there is also a launching slip on the Gareloch for water sports. Rosmuire is 20 minutes from Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and this is an ideal location from which to explore one of Scotland’s most picturesque areas with excellent outdoor activities to be enjoyed including walking, cycling, fishing, pony trekking and water sports nearby. The West Highland Way with numerous hill and mountain walks have around 20 Munros, hills above 3000ft, and are within an hour’s drive. There is also easy access to golf courses including the Loch Lomond championship course. Around 15 minutes’ away are both Cameron House Hotel, which offers golf and spa facilities, and Lomond Shores, offering designer boutique shopping, loch cruises and an aquarium. There are various nearby distilleries including the famous Glengoyne Distillery, in which they offer tours. About 3 miles away is Helensburgh with shops, supermarket, pubs and coffee shops, and areas of interest include the Waverly paddle steamer which calls in at Helensburgh pier during the summer and Hill House (NTS), designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1904 and is open to the public, blending Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau, Scottish Baronial and Japonisme architecture and design. Glasgow is 40 minutes and Edinburgh 1½ hours by car and direct train. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.
