Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. The house was very comfortable and very well-equipped. It was furnished tastefully and it felt like home. Knocklong itself is a small town which seems to have lost many of its businesses so it is very quiet. There is a petrol station and a small convenience store but for grocery supplies and sightseeing you need to travel to nearby towns. The roads are very pretty and the countryside is beautiful. June 2012.
  2. Please be aware that any journey takes that much longer because of the Country Roads. People in Tipperary very welcoming as were those we saw in Knocklong. Cottage settee is to narrow your bottom falls of the couch. Beds very comfortable, bathroom lovely - shower great. Could find no barbecue, and we could find no bin to put the rubbish into. Kitchen very well equipped. Peat great... flowers a lovely touch. While there some visitors called whose mum once lived in the cottage. Obviously, her mum had fond memories. June 2012.
  3. The Rose Cottage was wonderful! We were very surprised at how it was well equipped! The owner was very accessible and so sweet! We spent our Easter there and visited the village Catholic Church for the holiday. We will have memories to last a LIFETIME! Side note: It would be great if a little booklet included how to turn on the heat, how to operate the stove, where to place the garbage and where to park. It does not need to be fancy just something to refer to. April 2012.
  4. Beautiful cottage with very comfy beds! Absolutely loved the farmhouse kitchen and cosy sitting room. The inside of the cottage was deceptively large and easily accommodated 5 adults, as well as having 2 cots if needed for babies / toddlers. The pub at the end of the road, opposite the garage, was really friendly and a welcome place to unwind in after being rained on all day! May 2011.
  5. Rose cottage was absolutely charming; the attention to every detail of decoration and appointments exquisite (the linens were fresh and beautiful). We enjoyed every rustic moment! Thank you. March 2010.
  6. We liked the cottage. Aug 2009.
  7. The accommodation was very well presented. I liked the kitchen as it was great to use, which kept the costs down of eating out all the time. The open fire was great and was nice and cosy to come back to after a day of sight-seeing. Oct 2009.
