Close to the beach, restaurants, quirky shops and art galleries is this stylishly renovated end of terrace holiday cottage with the added bonus of an attractive, enclosed, paved garden; ideal for summer barbecues. It also boasts a wood-burning stove in the living room where you can curl up and relax after a brisk walk down by the harbour in the winter. Try out the watersports on offer including sailing and surfing, take up fishing and don’t forget to sample the local oysters for which Whitstable is renowned. It is also good cycling territory - try The Crab and Winkle Way, experience at first hand the glorious Whitstable sunsets and gaze across The Swale, where time appears to stand still and offers an ideal opportunity to recharge your batteries. Once you have explored the local artists community, daily fish market and tiny lanes previously frequented by smugglers, the historic town of Canterbury, with its breathtaking cathedral and boat trips on the River Stour is well worth a visit. Indoor leisure centre with swimming pool close by. Good rail connections to London. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

  1. The accommodation was exactly as described in the brochure, (a modest end of terrace house with attic extension). In addition it was very well equipped with high quality gear and great use made of all the space. The location in a quiet street only yards from shops and beach was perfect. The garden was perfect for barbecues and children’s play. We were very appreciative of the fact that our dog was welcome and we were happy to confine him to the ground floor as requested. June 2012.

  8. This has been one of the best cottages we have rented in England. In terms of the thoughtfulness that went into the decor, amenities, location etc. It is particularly good if you have children, since the owners also have a young child and have made a lot of effort into making the place comfortable for similar families. The main bathroom is not on the same floor as two of the three bedrooms, but this cant be helped. Aug 2011.
  9. Such a wonderfully equipped cottage, with many personal touches and a lot of thought involved. The housekeeper was very friendly and informative and the Welcome Pack outstanding. Even the touch of sending a personal note after our return really makes Rolls Cottage stand out. Aug 2011.

This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
