Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Riverside is a beautiful cottage well placed, well appointed and full of character. You think of something you need... it is there (with the small exception of a hairdryer). Although we did not have good weather and could not enjoy the terrace over the river, the cottage was so cosy that we enjoyed stay in, lit the fireplace and read for hours. The area, is beautiful too and one can reach many places by foot or train. The coast path are breathtaking and the national trust villages seem out of a children book. Watchet is a nice small town, everything is very close and people are very welcoming. all in all highly recommended! June 2012.
  2. 17 steps to the pub, 23 to the chip shop! Location magical, cottage old and quirky. Don’t drink Scrumpy Cider and then try to climb the twisty old stairs! June 2012.
  3. Very clean, convenient for shops and eating places. Near many places of interest and the beautiful Somerset countryside. May 2012.
  4. Would recommend this cottage to anyone. April 2012.
  5. Very comfortable and the owner added small personal touches which made us feel very at home. Property also has brand new fully fitted kitchen, all in all very nice property, I am sure we will return. March 2012.
  6. The cottage is extremely welcoming and felt very much like a home. It’s cosy and full of character but the decoration is modern and fuss free which we really liked. Oct 2011.
  7. A beautiful and quirky cottage in a very good position. No need to use the car on most days. Plenty of places to eat very close at hand. A must for steam train fans as the West Somerset Railway was only a short walk away. Sept 2011.
  8. Perfectly located for views, food, and beer!! June 2011.
