Set in a quiet residential location within West Looe, Riversbend offers beautiful river and countryside views from the rear of the house and the garden. The Downs are close by for tranquil walks, and the harbour and sandy beach is a short drive or a 20-minute walk. The picturesque fishing village offers a variety of shops, restaurants and inns together with many activities including shark fishing, boat trips, sailing and superb coastal walks to name but a few. Shops and pubs 1/2 mile.

All on ground floor: Living/dining room. Kitchen. 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 bunk. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Economy 7 central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Freeview TV. DVD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Enclosed garden with sitting-out area and furniture. Barbecue. Parking (1 car). No smoking.

  1. Lovely waking up to a beautiful view of the river, even when it rained! Lots of places to eat in looe and then you can walk it off on the return journey up the hill back to the cottage. Garden is a little sun trap first thing in the morning, a good place to sit and drink your coffee. June 2012.

  3. Nice quiet spot, lovely views over the river. Idealy situated for the town. Like everywhere in Looe it is very hilly. Very dog friendly town, you can take your dog into all of the public houses. March 2012.
  4. We were indeed fortunate with excellent weather in March. The location and view from the property are amazing and ever changing. The easy access on to Downs was ideal for the dog and as the start for great walks. Walking over to Talland Bay and back along the Coast path is around 7 miles and very rewarding. March 2012.
  5. Attractive location, overlooking the river on the West side. You need to be fit or have transport to access the town, where there are ample eating establishments, on the East side, across the bridge, all serving very good food. A number of these are dog friendly, shops also. Plenty of walks and places to visit. Eden Project - spectacular although expensive! Sept 2011.

  7. Quiet, beautiful views from rear of property, able to walk into the town from property in 10-15 mins (downhill), returning to property from town is uphill, and quite arduous for the unfit. Sept 2009.
