Fells nearby include the High Street range, 1 mile, and Helvellyn, 8 miles. Penrith, 6 miles. Windermere, 13 miles. Access is via a small, private holiday park under the same ownership. Good location for peace and quiet yet only 1/4 mile walk to Pooley Bridge with shops, pubs, cafes and steamer trips. Young children’s play area and small football pitch nearby. NP81 is adjacent to the owners quiet seasonal holiday park with no letting or sub letting.

2 steps to entrance: All on ground floor: Living room. Dining room/kitchen. Utility room with shower cubicle. 3 bedrooms: 2 double, one (5ft) with en-suite shower room and toilet, 1 single. Bathroom with toilet.

NSH included. Tumble dryer. Garden with decking and furniture.

  10. Superb safe location, especially for those with small children or those with limited mobility with a wonderful short walk to the lovely village of Pooley Bridge and lakeside. The accommodation is spacious, with a lovely terrace for outdoor eating. Bedrooms are spacious and it would make an ideal base for exploring the wonderful Lake District. April 2011.

  19. Superb situation on this working farm overlooking the river. Short 10 min.walk through the fields to Pooley Bridge, this lovely Lakeland village with good shops and easy access to Lake Ullswater. The village is set at the Eastern end of Ullswater with the lake steamers booking hall and jetty some 5 to 10 mins walk from the village. (note; they are not steam powered boats !) Penrith is 15 mins by car where there are better shops and supermarkets. All in all a super base to explore the wonderful Lake District National Park. Sept 2008.
