Set within the grounds of the adjacent Manor House this cottage enjoys a quiet location with open views across fields, tastefully furnished and decorated. It makes an excellent holiday home from which to visit the elegant spa town of Harrogate, 7 miles. The historic city of York, 20 miles, the Dales and the North York Moors and East Coast make an alternative day out. Shop and pub 1 mile.

This property is close to the 2014 Tour de France route, come and experience the spectacular scenery for yourself and follow in the trail of some true cycling legends.

All on ground floor: Living room with patio doors. Dining room/kitchen. 2 bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite bathroom with corner bath, shower attachment and toilet, 1 twin. Shower room with toilet.

  1. A lovely ground floor apartment very comfortable and a field available for the dog. Fantastic views, shops at Kirby Stephen, Hawes and Leyburn not far away. Lovely to Appleby and Alston. Farmshop cafe was super. Weather could have been better but it didn’t keep us in. Fantastic kitchen and bathroom. June 2012.
  2. The brochure really under-plays this elegant bungalow. The ensuite bathroom for the master bedroom is huge & super de-luxe, with under-floor heating, two basins & a massive bath. The kitchen is really well-equipped, including hob, two ovens, microwave & coffee maker. We stayed at Christmas & it was toasty warm. modern large TV with DVD & SKY.The location, just off the main Harrogate Road, within a mile of all-hours garage shop, busses & train, yet quiet, with lovely views, is hard to better.   5. This is our first visit to Riffa Manor Cottage, but hope it will not be the last. We received a very warm welcome and guided tour of the property from the owner’s son and we were impressed with the overall standard of the property. It had everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The immediate surroundings were also impressive; rabbits, squirrels, and even a red kite were seen. The privacy was also much appreciated In all, a delight to experience. Oct 2010.

  7. Liked its location; the views of the Wharfe Valley are some of the best I’ve ever seen from a holiday bungalow. Also there is a large lawn immediately adjoining the lounge where you can enjoy the views in the fresh air. Aug 2010.
