Property Description

Ridding Bay Lodge is a property of great distinction and offers a remarkable and luxurious lifestyle holiday. The Lodge enjoys uninterrupted views to Lake Windermere and across to the surrounding woodland area, brimming with wildlife, such as deer and squirrels. A path across the grounds leads through these woods to bring you directly to the private lake shore for swimming, boating or simply splashing about at the water’s edge. Ridding Bay Lodge has a jetty and small beach area where you can moor a boat and a picturesque lake side picnic area. There is also a super tennis court, just a short walk from the house so don’t forget your racquet. A children’s climbing frame, slide, sandpit and swings are also available to keep the younger ones amused although we’re certain that some of you older guests won’t be able to resist; at your own risk of course.
Ridding Bay Lodge has been dressed by interior designers so not surprisingly the style, finish and ambience is simply perfect.  Huge windows in the lounge room give way to the tempting views of the Lake. Three good bedrooms, elaborately dressed with luxurious bed linens for that all important night’s rest, have been individually designed, the master suite a particular favourite of the writer, with its huge 7 ft ’tester style’ bed, the perfect place to lie and take in the views, horizontally. Although the Lodge caters for up to six, we do recommend this beautiful property as being most suitable for a honeymoon, anniversary or any other special occasion you are celebrating with your loved one. 

Ground Floor: Ridding Bay Lodge has gas fired central heating and very briefly comprises:
Entrance into the Upper Ground Floor from the parking area, the main living space.
The spacious hallway doubles as the dining area as it is just off the kitchen. This large area also has a small desk with broadband internet.
Kitchen: With TV (full sky package), fully fitted breakfast kitchen with island, gas hob, double oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
Lounge: With widescreen plasma TV, with full Sky package and surround sound system and CD Hi-Fi.  Access to the balcony which wraps its way around the lounge room.
Cloakroom: With hand basin and WC.
Utility room: With washing machine and tumble dryer.
 
Lower Ground Floor:
Master Suite: With enormous 7ft emperor bed as well as having access to the music system and a comfy seating area, also has French doors out on to terrace and TV with full sky package. The en-suite to this room is a shower room with cubicle, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2: With twin beds, delightfully presented with solid oak furnishings and co-ordinating linens.
Bedroom 3: With super king size bed and en-suite access if required to the bathroom.
Bathroom: With shower over the bath, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.

All gas, electric, bed linen and towels provided. Broadband internet access and telephone for local call also provided.Private off road parking for up to three cars. Garden with furniture and BBQ provided. Playground equipment in the Lodge garden, but used at guest’s own risk. Visit Britain Gold awarded property.
