Phil’s House (ref SUUR), an architect designed, eco-friendly, single-storey house and Reid’s Cottage (ref UYT), a bright and cosy Highland croft house, enjoy an elevated position with panoramic views over the village of Lairg, waters of the Loch Shin and towards the hills beyond. Furnished and equipped to very high standards, they ensure a comfortable and pleasant holiday in this lovely part of the Highlands. Activities include mountain biking in the forest trails, fishing and stalking (by prior arrangement), hill walking or kayaking on the lochs and rivers. Golf courses nearby. For the less energetic, just relax in the comfort of the house and watch the ever changing scenery. Shops and pubs 1/4 mile.

  2. Good location to explore the Highlands, but you have to be prepared to drive a long distance on single track roads to visit the far north. We were attracted to this cottage because it would take up to 3 dogs. Storm porch and drying room a real asset. Double bed and bedding particularly luxurious. Very well heated - we did not need the wood burning stove. Kitchen very well equipped. Sept 2012.

  4. Reid’s Cottage is located in the most ideal part of Lairg; close enough for convenience but far enough away for privacy and peace and quiet. The cottage is furnished and equipped outstandingly and has a really homely feel. The cottage is clean, the view is magnificent, the kitchen well stocked, the living room cosy and the bedroom just the right size. Lairg location is ideal for access to any part of the most northerly reaches of the country. My fiancee and I fully intend return again and again. Sept 2011.
