Property Description

Situated in quiet position in the pretty village of St Fillans on the eastern shore of Loch Earn, in the Trossachs National Park. This well furnished and equipped semi-detached holiday cottage has a large enclosed rear garden. To the rear are the Lednock Hills with miles of walking. Loch Earn is a mecca for golf, mountain biking and water skiing, with boats available for hire. On the edge of the Trossachs, an area of great scenic beauty, close to climbing, walking and the skiing area of the Crianlarich and Lawers group of mountains. Guests may bring their own boats and launch them on the slipway at a nearby hotel (at cost). Shop 200 yards, hotel and pub 400 yards.

This property is close to Gleneagles where the 2014 Ryder Cup took place, come and play a round of golf all year round on this world-renowned course.

  4. The cottage was well supplied with everything that was needed to keep warm & dry in what was freezing cold, snowy weather for November including plenty of blankets & heaters everywhere.   7. A beautiful setting. Lovely large enclosed garden ideal for the children and dog to run around safely. Property quite cold on arrival but electric heaters soon changed that and the cottage was lovely and cosy. Electric blankets on all beds were a lovely addition. Cottage a little dated but that added to the charm and it had everything we needed. Fresh flowers in a vase were a lovely touch. Overall a fantastic little cottage for the price. Oct 2009.
