Furnished to a very good standard, it boasts a mini gym (with weight machine, cross trainer and bike) and large enclosed garden. In the wider area, riding, hillwalking and golf are all catered for. Lough Mask and the Corrib are a half hour drive for fishing and boating. Westport, Achill and Galway are an easy drive. Shops, restaurants and pubs 0.25 miles.

Ground floor: Living room with tiled floor. Dining room/kitchen/conservatory with tiled floor and French doors. Second living room with wooden floor. Utility room. Separate toilet. First floor: 4 bedrooms: 2 double both with en-suite shower room with toilet, 2 twin. Bathroom with shower over Jacuzzi bath and toilet. Second floor: Mini gym with en-suite shower room with toilet. 1 twin bedroom with Velux window and en-suite shower room with toilet. All bedrooms with wooden floors.

Open fire in second living room and woodburner in living room (initial fuel included). Oil central heating and electricity by meter reading. Bed linen and towels included. Travel cot. High chair. DVD, CD. Gas hob. Electricity oven. Microwave. Washing machine. Tumble dryer. Dishwasher. Fridge/freezer. Enclosed lawned garden with furniture. Ample parking.

  1. The house was terrific. It had 5 bedrooms, a gymnasium and 6 toilets (5 with power showers and 1 with a Jacuzzi). The quality of the finishes was excellent and every utility you needed was there. The owners lived next door and could not have been more friendly or accommodating. They had the garden and house stocked with toys for my toddler grand-daughter and safety gates fitted on all stairs ready for our arrival. I’d call it a home from home, but my house pales in comparison. April 2012.

  4. The property was fantastic, the owner lives next door and he is extremely friendly and helpful. The garden was child friendly, with toys and swings to keep the kids entertained! The house is overloaded with space, and contains everything you might ever need! It really was like being home from home. 10 out of 10. April 2011.

  6. Very spacious accommodation set in a quiet town. The house had excellent facilities local pubs and restaurants provided good food and very friendly to visitors. The only negative comment would be that it is 40 kilometres out of Galway but this did not affect our holiday. July 2010.
  7. This was a beautiful house in a quiet location, very clean, bright and spacious. We were a party of 8 adults and there was plenty of room. We all had a really enjoyable stay (an ideal base for touring). The owner was very pleasant and kindly loaned his musical instruments to us, making for great evenings! Sept 2009.
