Tucked away in a quiet courtyard, this delightful refurbished stone built cottage provides very attractive welcoming accommodation in the oldest part of Seahouses. Only a short walk from the beach and busy harbour, it provides an excellent base for a seaside holiday. The many attractions of the Heritage Coast and award winning countryside are within a few minutes drive. Shops, pubs, restaurants, fishing museum with saltwater aquarium and an 18 hole links golf course all nearby. Shops 300 yards, pubs 50 yards.

Ground floor: Living room. Dining room/kitchen. First floor: 3 bedrooms: 2 double, 1 bunk, both with beams. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Electric woodburner in living room included. NSH, electricity and bed linen included. Towel hire. Video. Stereo/CD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washer/dryer. Dishwasher. Fridge/freezer. Shared sitting-out area. Parking (2 cars). No smoking.

  2. Can only recommend this property. It is close to restaurants, take aways, co-op,beach, habour situated just right. Very well equipped and is much bigger than it looks! We stayed over Christmas week and were impressed with how warm the cottage was. It would make a good base from which to explore the area. Dec 2011.
  3. Cottage was very light and airy, lovely location, very clean, larger than it looked from the outside. Would stay there again, handy for dinning out. Recommend Alnwick Castle and gardens, also Bambrough Castle that is a must, Holy island, Farne islands and the Grace Darling Museum, so much to do in the area we didnt know where to start.
