Nestled in the heart of Jura Mountains, this detached chalet offers panoramic views over the valley. The interior is simply furnished with paneling decor and is well equipped.

The lounge leads to a sunny balcony as well as one of the bedrooms upstairs. Within easy reach is the town of Pontarlier, the recreational lake of St. Point and the waterfall of Doubs River.

The climbing resort of Ornans and the medieval Arbois town are worth a visit, as is Gorges and the mountains with astonishing views.

Shop, café/bar and restaurant 2km, beach 15km.

Ground floor: Lounge/diner, kitchen, bathroom with shower over bath and basin, separate toilet, 1 double bedroom. First floor: 1 twin bedroom. Double sofa bed in lounge.

Electric heating, cot, colour satellite TV, video, washing machine, dishwasher, freezer, microwave, private enclosed garden, terrace, garden furniture, barbecue, garage for 1 car, off road parking for 2 cars. One pet welcome.

  1. The chalet was in a beautiful location overlooking alpine meadows at the top of a village high up in the mountains. The chalet is well equipped, clean and comfortable. The balconies are ideal for sitting, relaxing and watching the world go by. The weather was glorious, despite the fact that there was still lots of snow on the ground, and some mountain roads were still impassable. There are lots of things to do and plenty of places to visit - Switzerland is only a short distance away. We would return without hesitation. It is a real gem! March 2012.
  2. Beautiful quiet location - convenient base too if visiting Switzerland (the vignette is worth every penny). Fabulous to wake to the sound of cow bells. Charming and very accommodating owner. Although the property is simply and traditionally furnished,it feels like home. In the kitchen you’ll find everything you could possibly need. Hyper-U supermarket also has a petrol station which had the best prices for fuel. Would recommend taking your own DVD player/DVDs as the French TV "Freeview" options/choices can sometimes be limited due to weak signal. We will be returning! Oct 2011.
  3. A lovely property in a tranquil and beautiful location. You feel you are in wonderful isolation yet Pontarlier with great shopping is 10 mins away by car. There are great walks in the countryside on your doorstep and plenty to see in the Doubs region also the location gives good access to Switzerland. April 2011.

  10. Nice location, although it is on a junction it wasn’t noisy. The owner was very pleasant but doesn’t speak any English. Access is via either stairs from the garage or steps from the drive. Aug 2009.
