These cosy terraced holiday homes have been totally renovated, with a gym area, table tennis and table football for guests’ use.

They are located in the village of Pommeuse-Tresne, situated in a valley close to the famous old town of Coulommiers. Visit the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte (20km) or Epernay, famous for its Champagne. The wonderful world of Disneyland is only 15km, the train station is 1km meaning Paris can be reached in only 1.5 hours. The medieval city of Provins with its impressive ramparts makes a wonderful day out with its themed summer festivals and pageantry, a treat for the whole family.

There are many wooded walking trails and cycling paths in the area and Paris is easily accessible; discover Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower and museums including The Louvre or Beaubourg.

Shop, café/bar and restaurant 1km.

Ground floor: Lounge/kitchen/diner, shower room with basin, separate toilet. First floor: Separate toilet, 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin.

Electric heating/air conditioning, all fuel and power included in rent, bed linen and towels included in rent, colour satellite TV, DVD player, washing machine, dishwasher, freezer, microwave, enclosed terrace, outdoor furniture, off road parking for 1 car. Sorry, no pets.

  1. Good location for visiting Paris and Euro Disney. Property is tucked away at the end of the village along a small road, currently being dug up! Would have struggled to find alternate route in without Satnav. Property is compact, but clean, secure and well laid out with everything you should need. Upstairs sloped ceilings are pretty low and the tall may struggle to fit in the double bed. Table tennis table and gas barbecue were welcome additions. Would recommend taking a couple of extra towels. Owner speaks very little English, so brush up on your French! Train station about 5-10 mins away by car (free car park). 14.20 euros for a mobilis (zones 1-5) ticket to Paris which can also be used for all Metro travel and the Montmartre Funicular. Good choice of reasonably priced restaurants in Montmartre too. Trains to Paris were reliable and took about an hour. Drive to Euro Disney was about 30 mins, 2.10 euros toll in either direction. Got Satnav to avoid tolls 1 day, made about 5 mins difference. Head to Disney village and park in the multi-storey as it is cheaper than main car parks (10 euros instead of 15). Drinks expensive, but can usually get water in most restaurants for free or use drinks fountains. Motorways from Calais to property are smooth and quiet, just prepare yourself for the 21.00 euros toll. July 2012.

  3. Perfect for the region, only 20 minutes from Disneyland and 40 minutes from the Eiffel Tower. Clean and extremely functional for two adults and two children. Low ceiling in the main bedroom at the bed head. Dec 2011.

  5. This cottage was ideally situated, half and hour from Disneyland and a train station minutes away to take you into Paris. Other attractions near by and the owner recommended several places, which we visited and were lovely. The cottage itself was wonderful. Peaceful location, table tennis and football tables which kept my 11 and 12 yr olds happy the entire holiday. A home away from home with all the mod-cons that you need. Will definitely be visiting again as we had the most wonderful time. May 2011.
  6. House had everything needed for a good, comfortable holiday. The local patisserie is excellent and the lady there speaks English. Tips for your holiday - travelling in to Paris - go by train from the local train station. Double-decker train to Paris L’Est takes 50 minutes. Really clean, toilets on board but not at local station. Good to do the L’Open Tour Bus around Paris to see all the major sights which can be boarded just outside the station Paris L’Est. If you go to Disney, don’t park your car in Disney Park car park as it will cost 15 euros. Park your car in Disney Village car park as this costs 8 euros for 24 hours in a multi-storey car park which is actually nearer to walk to the Disney parks. Moet et Chandon in Eperney is a good vist - it takes one and a half hours to drive to. Vaux Le Vicomte is a mini Versailles and lovely - only takes about 40 minutes to get to. Had a wonderful time.   8. Very clean and owners very welcoming. Beams very low in bedrooms hit head several times, if taller than 5 foot. Childrens bedroom very good, our daughter liked it very much easpecially the sheets printed with cows. Feb 2010.

  12. The accommodation was perfect. The hosts were very welcoming and gave us lots of suggestions and tips on where to visit. They even had tourist information leaflets in the house. everything was provided at no extra cost. The house was central to all the places we wanted to visit. It was perfect and I will be going again. June 2009.
  13. Excellent location for Paris, particularly for Disneyland. Owner was very helpful on arrival and departure. Table Tennis table and bikes were a lovely touch. Cottage very comfortable and well equipped – just watch out for slightly low ceilings upstairs. May 2009.
