These cosy terraced holiday homes have been totally renovated, with a gym area, table tennis and table football for guests’ use.

They are located in the village of Pommeuse-Tresne, situated in a valley close to the famous old town of Coulommiers. Visit the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte (20km) or Epernay, famous for its Champagne. The wonderful world of Disneyland is only 15km, the train station is 1km meaning Paris can be reached in only 1.5 hours. The medieval city of Provins with its impressive ramparts makes a wonderful day out with its themed summer festivals and pageantry, a treat for the whole family.

There are many wooded walking trails and cycling paths in the area and Paris is easily accessible; discover Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower and museums including The Louvre or Beaubourg.

Shop, café/bar and restaurant 1km.

Basement: Utility room. First floor: Lounge/kitchen/diner, shower room with toilet and basin. Second floor: 2 bedrooms; 1 double, 1 twin.

Electric heating, all fuel and power included in rent, bed linen and towels included in rent, colour satellite TV, washing machine, dishwasher, freezer, courtyard, outdoor furniture, barbecue, garage parking for 1 car. Sorry, no pets.

  2. A lovely clean property. Very helpful owner. All the facilities you need for the holiday. At the edge of the village so reasonably quiet. Short walk to the lovely bakery. May 2011.
  3. Excellent location for Disney Land Parcs, about twenty minutes drive, there is a €2.10 toll on the motorway into the parc. A very quiet village location. Pommeuse has an excellent bakers shop, a large super market on route to Disney. A car is essential, trains into paris €16 ret. from nearby rail station.Satellite t.v. with some english channels. May 2011.
  4. Compact, clean and welcoming, fairly rustic, bedrooms recently refurnished. Steep winding stairs to bedrooms, and a staircase up to the front door. There is a garage with bikes, helmets, etc and table tennis table. The location is edge of village and feels fairly rural and the only food shop is a small boulangerie. Its a 15 min walk from the house to the station where you can catch a train into Paris, or the nearby town of Coulommiers which is quite pretty and has a decent range of shops. Disney is 20 mins by car, or 10 min train ride to Coulommiers and then a 30 minute bus ride from there. Bring your own DVD player, as the cottage has only a 14" portable TV with 2 English language channels, and a VHS video which only plays secam tapes. Bring tea towels and some extra bath towels. We enjoyed our trip, found the cottage very good value for money, and the owners were friendly. Recommended, and I suspect you won’t get better value this close to Disneyland. April 2011. "

  7. We really liked its location. The village was very quiet and the scenery was great! There was even a zoo nearby and we could see lamas every time we drove to the cottage, which was nice! The property was generally clean and cosy. We had some difficulty with the steep chairs though. Also, the landlady was very helpful upon arrival! Overall, we had a pleasant stay! Sept 2010.
  8. Very friendly welcome from the owner who was very helpful with our questions. The cottage was well-equipped and very clean. A bit remote but that didn’t matter too much as we had a car. Stairs to bedrooms were very steep but there was a safety gate at the top which, as a sleepwalker, I was pleased about! Lots of information about the local area and attractions in the form of brochures/leaflets. Aug 2010.

The cottage was even better than described it was well equipped with utensils etc that you need when away and had far more there to do for the children with the ping pong table and football table. The people were lovely and the place it was situated in was just fantastic for our evening BBQ and then a lovely evening’s walk into the village. May 2008.
