Note: Polgew Studio (TAS) and Polgew Apartment (TO2) can be booked together to sleep up to 6 people. Polgew Studio provides an opportunity to stay in a holiday property which looks directly towards St Michaels Mount and Mounts Bay and is just 3-4 minutes from the long sandy beach. This ground floor studio apartment, below the owner’s home and at the same location as Polgew Apartment (TO2), is well furnished and offers amazing sea views. Watch the world go by from the patio in the award-winning garden. The village of Marazion has art galleries and shops, or enjoy a drink or meal at the hotel overlooking the magnificent castle on the mount. The maritime town of Penzance, fishing village of Newlyn and famous harbour at Mousehole are a short distance away. Shop and pub ¼ mile.

Gradual path with six spaced steps to entrance. Spacious, open-plan living/dining room with vertical blind screen to large bedroom area (5ft bed). Fitted kitchen and large fully tiled bathroom, shower cubicle and toilet.

  1. Perfect! An ideal holiday apartment should offer a similar or better accommodation to one’s own home. Unless you are multi-milionaires this is great. Wonderful views, garden and terrace. Our only minor critique is that your blurb does not confirm, no cooker, only microwave. Not a problem, but one should know in advance. June 2012.

  3. This is a lovely studio of very high quality - probably one of the best we have stayed in in England. The owners live above and are very helpful in telling you about the location etc. The property is just a 5 minutes walk away from St Michaels Mount and overlooks the sea. Lots of places to visit close by. Would recommend a visit to Mousehole - a tiny village - very pleasant. Sept 2011.

  6. Perhaps the most revealing comment is that we were always very happy to come back to the Studio after a day out and about since it was so inviting. The owners were very thoughtful in putting together a guide about the accommodation and its facilities and places/activities of interest. This was supplemented by guides to places of interest in the general area. The Studio was in a lovely location overlooking St Michaels Mount and Marazion beach. The Studio was modern. Aug 2011.
  7. Studio was excellent. Good views of St. Michaels Mount. Clean & well decorated in a neutral style, large bathroom with modern fixtures & fittings. Never going to cook a three course meal in the kitchen, but you"re on holiday so it doesn"t matter. A studio that exceeded our expectations. Steps up to studio from the street could be steep for the elderly. July 2011.

  12. The accommodation surpassed our expectations. Although a ’one-room’ studio, it felt very spacious and the furnishings were very comfortable. The bathroom was very luxurious and lovely to soak in the large bath after a long coastal walk. Sept 2009.

This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
