Note: Polgew Apartment (TO2) and Polgew Studio (TAS) can be booked together to sleep up to 6 people. Polgew Apartment provides an opportunity to stay in a property that looks out directly towards St Michaels Mount and Mounts Bay to Newlyn and Mousehole. This ground floor holiday apartment, below the owner’s home and at the same location as Polgew Studio (TAS), is spacious and offers amazing sea views. Enjoy watching boats go by and kite surfers from the award-winning garden, or take the 3-4-minute walk to the long sandy beach. Marazion has art galleries and pasty shop; a cream tea can be enjoyed from the hotel overlooking the superb castle on the mount. Further afield is the maritime town of Penzance or Newlyn with art gallery, fresh fish shop. Shops 300 yards, pub ¼ mile.

The apartment was really comfortable and well appointed, and most importantly beautifully clean. The views enjoyed from the terrace were spectacular, and the beach being within walking distance was a bonus. We found it a very relaxing place to be and wouldnt hesitate in recommending it to others. April 2011.

  15. The apartment is lovely with fantastic views across the sea to Penzance and St Michaels Mount. It is ideally situated for trips to St Ives, Lands End, The Lizard or you can stroll down to Marazion and even over to St Michaels Mount if the tide is out. Great location for birdwatching, walking and gardens or if you are into more adventurous pursuits the kite surfing looked fun! The owners Diane & Graham are on hand with helpful advice on places to visit or the best places to eat so all in all a really great place to stay. July 2009.

  18. Marizion is extremely well positioned for the Western end of Cornwall and is a lovely welcoming village. The accommodation was everything that was advertised and more, we had the full sky package which meant something for everyone on the one wet day. Having WiFi was also very helpful to look online for things to do and book in advance.. The property was furnished, equipped and decorated to a very high standard. Diane and Graham were very welcoming and helpful when we arrived, they left us to our holiday during the week saying that they were around if we needed them at all. On leaving we had a lovely chat about what we had done during our stay and were interested in our views. I would definitely recommend Polgew apartments to other holiday makers. Aug 2009.
