This lovingly restored, stone built semi-detached holiday property is a spacious first floor apartment with a balcony around two sides, looking across open countryside.

The property opens onto a sheltered courtyard, shared with W10788 and the owner. There are extensive grounds around the property.

Riverside heritage village Pontrieux is nearby, with its timbered houses and cobbled streets. The ’Pink Granite Coast’, 10 miles, has spectacular walks as well as many watersports.

Shops and restaurant 4.5km, café/bar 4km, beach 15km.

All on first floor: Lounge/diner, kitchen, 1 kingsize bedroom with en-suite bathroom with toilet and basin, separate toilet and basin, double sofa bed in lounge.

Electric heating, all fuel and power included in rent May-September, €15 supplement October-April, bed linen and towels included in rent, cot, colour TV (French channels only), CD player, wi-fi, microwave, shared enclosed lawned courtyard, balcony, garden furniture, barbecue, on street parking for 1 car. One pet welcome. NB: 14 steps to property.

  1. The property is set deep in the rural countryside and is very peaceful and tranquil. The rooms were much larger than expected and our first floor property gave us lovely views by access to a balcony on 2 sides.The living room was very spacious and encouraged one to relax with the views of the country. The bedroom was also a very good size with king size bed which was very comfortable. En-suite bathroom was an added convenience. Kitchen was modern and it was great to have a dish washer. Owners were kind and made us very welcome and we felt that nothing was too much trouble to them. A really inspiring place to be. June 2012.
  2. The property is an apartment which is part of a renovated farm development on which the owners also live. The owners are very welcoming and respect your privacy but make the point they are available if you need help. The apartment was well furnished, clean and spacious. The location, although rural, is within easy driving distance of many historic towns (Guingamp, Pontrieux, Treguier and Lannion) and the coast in this region (Plougrescant/ Ploumanach) is beautiful on a sunny day. The people in this area are exceptionally friendly and hospitable. The seafood (especially in Concale) is out of this world. We can’t wait to visit again. April 2012.
  3. What a wonderful gite. The owners were helpful and friendly, gave us lots of information and then left us alone for the rest of the week. The accommodation was perfect - so restful with beautiful views. The local town was full of artists’ studios and great little (good value) restaurants. It was the best holiday we have had in the last five years! June 2011.
  4. It’s a very spacious property considering it is for only 2 people. There is a nice big double bed with a super king size duvet. The location is very quiet so you can relax but if you want the coast is only 15 km away. The Owners are very friendly and helpful and I can state that it was a pleasure to meet them. Sept 2010.
