Set on approximately seven acres of grounds opening onto a large courtyard adjacent to the welcoming owner’s home, this attractive semi-detached cottage has been tastefully converted and is well equipped.

It is within 3.1 miles (5km) of the picturesque old town of Pontrieux, situated in the depths of the Trieux Valley with numerous wash houses and half-timbered buildings, where you will enjoy canoeing on the river.

Alternatively, why not take a trip to the lively harbour of Paimpol on the scenic railway only 3.1 miles (5km) away.

Shops, restaurant 2.75 miles (4.5km) café 2.5 miles (4km) and beach 9 miles (15km).

Ground floor: Lounge/kitchen/diner, shower room with toilet and basin. First floor: Bathroom with bidet and basin, separate toilet and basin, 1 twin bedroom, sofa bed in lounge.

Central heating, open fire in lounge, colour TV, wi-fi, washing machine, shared tumble dryer, dishwasher, freezer, microwave, shared garden, terrace, garden furniture, barbecue, off road parking for 2 cars. One pet welcome. NB: There are open-tread stairs.

  1. This is a lovely place for a holiday: a well equipped house set in beautiful countryside - great for birds and wildlife (lots of hares in the fields) and near the Triuex river for good walks. Very close to the nice little town of Pontrieux and within easy reach of the pink granite coast. Best of all it is literally five minutes from the wonderful La Roche Jagu gardens - not to be missed. Very welcoming and friendly owners who are keen to ensure guests are comfortable and enjoying themselves. We hope to return. May 2012.
  2. A very pleasant gite, in extremely rural surroundings. May 2010.
  3. Very well equipped, there was even dishwasher detergent, toilet rolls etc, I reciprocated by leaving as same. The hosts were wonderful - even though they spoke little English and we spoke barely any French!!! This made the holiday even more welcoming and we would not hesitate to recommend this property to others. I would wish that you feed this back to them to let them know how much it was appreciated. It was not a case of they made their money, they went the extra mile to ensure our stay was a totally relaxed and truly a home from home! Sept 2009.
  4. The owners made us feel very welcome. They were very friendly and helpful. The property is in the middle of the countryside and very peaceful, although you are not very far from the well serviced little town of Pontrieux. The nearby coast does get busy but is beautiful. Aug 2006.
