1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

Property Description

In Woodstock only minutes from Blenheim Palace.

Dating from the 17th century this spacious house is fully equipped and well furnished to provide excellent holiday accommodation. During careful restoration many of the original features, beams, doors and panelling have been retained and create a warm and historic atmosphere. The house is close to the centre of Woodstock where there are inns, restaurants, shops and a museum. Blenheim Palace the birth place of Winston Churchill is within walking distance and the parklands and lakes created by Capability Brown provide stunning views, ’one of the most beautiful in England’. There are many events featured at the Palace, good walking and famous gardens to enjoy. Bladon, the last resting place of Winston Churchill is 1 mile away. The market towns and villages of the Cotswold Hills, Cotswold Wildlife Park at Burford and the university city of Oxford are within 10 miles. Cheltenham, Stratford upon Avon, 30 miles. Shops 200 yards, pub 50 yards.

Shower room with toilet. Beams throughout. Steep, winding stairs to second floor: 1 double (6ft) with sofa bed and en-suite bathroom with toilet.

Open fires in living room and dining room (initial fuel included). Gas central heating (£25per week in winter) included. Electricity, bed linen and towels included. Travel cot. Video. DVDs. Stereo/CD. Gas hob. Electric oven. Microwave. Washer/dryer. Dishwasher. Fridge/freezer. No smoking. Friday to Friday.

  1. This is an excellent property in a fantastic location. The house is more spacious than we had anticipated and extremely well equipped. It is a shame the owners havent allocated any of the outside space to guests as the weather was lovely during our stay and the ability to sit outside would have made it perfect. We tried several of the pubs and all were excellent. We brought the annual pass to Blenheim and walked the very short walk to the Woodstock gate and into Blenheim most days. We had no difficulty with parking, and although the road noise didnt bother us it probably would affect lighter sleepers during the week. Sept 2012.

  5. A lovely cottage which was surprisingly spacious. Very clean and equipped with everything you could need. Greeted by the owner who was very friendly and helpful. We had our grandson with us and were pleasantly surprised by the amount of toys and equipment supplied for him. A lovely long weekend in Woodstock. Feb 2012.
  6. This cottage met all our requirements: comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, attractively decorated throughout, three bathrooms and cosy and warm, perfect for an Autumn weekend break. In summer we would have missed having outdoor space but in Octobet this was not a problem. Oct 2011.
