1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

This detached barn conversion, between the market towns of Ashbourne and Uttoxeter, has been constructed and furnished to a very good standard. Attention to detail has been made with lots of original features. The accommodation consists of four bedrooms, the master bedroom having a four poster bed. There is a spacious living room, large kitchen/diner and two of the bedrooms are en-suite, one of which is on the ground floor. The holiday property lies in its own grounds with ample off road parking yet within short distance of the A50 for easy access. From here many walks are close by while the sights of beautiful Sudbury Hall is just down the road. All the attractions of the Peak District are near as is the market town of Ashbourne. Alton Towers is just a 15-20-minute drive away. For an interesting day out, pay a visit to Matlock Bath, where you will find The Heights of Abraham. Here, a single ticket gives you a return trip by cable car, guided tours of two famous caverns and several other attractions for all the family. Shop and pub 0.5 miles, restaurant 2 miles.

Ground floor: Living room with patio door and beams. Dining room/kitchen with beams. 1 double bedroom with en-suite shower room and toilet. Separate toilet. Tiled floors throughout. First floor: 3 bedrooms: 1 double (four poster), 2 twin, 1 with additional pull out single, 1 with en-suite shower room and toilet. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Woodburner in living room (initial fuel included). Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Cot. High chair. DVD and small library. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Tumble dryer. Dishwasher. Freezer. Lawned garden with patio and furniture. Portable barbecue. Ample parking. Table football/tennis and a selection of games. No smoking.

  9. We all enjoyed our weekend stay in the cottage which we found clean, well-equipped and spacious. A personal note from Lorraine and a delicious lemon cake and chilled wine made us feel at home immediately and its’ location made it easily accessible. The boys loved the football table and the many extras provided (books, DVD’s etc). The numerous toilets / en-suite bathrooms were most useful as was a well-stocked kitchen (plenty of crockery & cutlery, an easy to use dishwasher, large freezer & fridge etc). Beds were very comfy and the wood-burner looked good to use in the winter. There were man beauty spots and National Trust properties to visit nearby without reservation. Would highly recommend this property for groups of 7-9 plus children & animals too. A high standard property with many thoughtful details and extras provided (except an hairdryer). June 2011

  11. A spacious barn with all the comforts of home. Very close to a main carriageway but a good location for Alton Towers, Uttoxeter race course and peak district. Would be an excellent venue for family reunions - could sleep 10( a cot and pull-out bed in one of twin rooms). Very friendly owners and a lovely homemade cake on arrival. May 2011.
