Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Pinclanity Mill splendid isolation and tranquility impressed as it did on our first visit last year. Once again the weather was good during the day and we were able to get out an appreciate the beauty of this relatively remote area. Warned that builders were on site before embaking upon the holiday twe found that they did not impinge upon it whatsoever, remining unobtrusive throughout the stay. Last year I thought the property would be spoilt by an extra dwelling on the site therfore, it was a pleasant surprise to find that the new dwelling blended in sympathetically with the original cottage. No one should be put off by the new dwelling especially when both properties may be let as a siggle entity, thus retaining the peaceful seclusion and isolated charm that currently exists. Incidentall getting to Pinclanty Mill cottage from P&O or Stena Ferries at Cairnryan should be included in the how to get there details. Leaving Ferry terminal proceed north on the A77 towards Ayr, proceed through Ballintrae for approximately one mile, and take B734 signposted Colmonel. Proceed on B734 to ’T’ junction with A714 just north of Pinwherry and turn left. Proceed north for approxiamtely one mile and take first right rejoining B734 signposted Barr. Take care turning off the A714 unto B734 as it imediately crosses the Stinchar River on a narrow humped bridge before ascending a steep hill with a blind hairpin bend on a single track road. The cottage is approxiamtely three miles along this road on the left had side, and clearly signposted Pinclanty Mill. April 2012.
  2. Wonderful property, excellent location and views, peaceful and quiet, will definitely return. Nov 2011.
  3. Lovely location and views, shame they are building the garage etc. as this will spoil it a bit. More information about the renewables would have been interesting, found it a little hot but didn’t want to mess with the controls. Other than that it was perfect and would love to go back, so relaxing! Nov 2011.
  4. A Very Special Property. Aug 2011.
  5. A fantastic cottage that was everything it claimed to be in the brochure! Well equipped and comfortable you could stay in and not leave the cottage for the duration of your stay. Beautiful walks nearby. The perfect place to get away from it all. Aug 2011.
  6. An outstanding place to stay - peace, tranquility with beautiful views and walks. The accommodation was absolute first class and would definitely stay here again, small personal touches made it feel home from home. Recommend a meal at the Woodlands Bay Hotel and a trip to Port Partrick which is a wonderful little harbour. June 2011.
  7. Having stayed in a number of cottages, this property exceeded our expectations being well presented with high quality fixtues and fittings and very well equipped. No complaints whatsoever, and we hope to book it again next year. Onlshadow on the horizon is the foundations for another dwelling/garage within the grounds which in my opinion will spoil this remote, idyllic and tranquil setting.
  8. The property has been renovated to a very high standard. Great care and consideration has been given by the owners to a visitors needs. July 2011.
  9. Wonderful cottage with everything you could ask for & nothing missed - the extras make all the difference and all in a stunning location. June 2011.
  10. A beautiful cottage in a story book location. The river running by was gorgeous and the walks from the door on a sunny day topped it. The accommodation was fabulous, couldnt fault it. 5* and home from home facilities, kitchen bedrooms, bedding etc etc. We will be back. May 2011.
  11. Fantastic cottage equipped to a high spec. Really relaxing holiday close to coast. Lovely local forest walk and fantastic restaurant at Maidens ’Wildings’. Amazing Kitchen at cottage loved baking whilst away. Definitely recommend. April 2011.
  12. Cottage and scenery were good, best cottage we have been in. April 2011.
  13. Beautiful cottage, very well equipped and extremely comfortable. Clean and well cared for. Feb 2011.
  14. Well equipped kitchen very high quality throughout. Spotlessly clean and a beautiful location. We had a family get together for my birthday and it was truly wonderful. We will definitely go back to Pinclanty Mill. Nov 2010.
  15. Well equipped, beautifully decorated, everything we needed. Sept 2010.
