This detached holiday cottage, set in 3-acres, is in a rural location within an AONB and is in the riverside village of Golant-by-Fowey. The Stable is a separate part of a larger barn dating back to 1851. Ideally situated for walking, it is located on the Saints’ Way, an ancient footpath linking the north and south coasts of Cornwall. There is a footpath from The Stable leading to the river. Fowey, 4 miles, has restaurants, galleries, shops, pubs, boat and fishing trips. An ideal base for exploring South Cornwall with its beaches, coastal walks and gardens. The Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and Bodmin Moor are easily reached. St Austell with its leisure facilities is 8 miles. Polkerris beach, 4 miles. Shop 2.5 miles, pub 1 mile, restaurant 4 miles.

Ground floor: Living room with French doors and wooden floor/dining room/kitchen. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double (6ft zip and link, can be twin on request), 1 twin. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet. Beams throughout.

  1. Very out of the way but because of that no noise apart from the sound of nature! Lovely accommodation and owners were very pleasant - even letting our 3yr old feed their goats, chickens and ducks. small inside lounge, dining and kitchen which isn’t apparent from the photos in brochure.
