Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Ideal cottage and location for us and our dog. Easy to access local tourist spots and walking in the hills. The cottage was just right too with the lovely log fire. Weather for end November was lovely. Nov 2012.
  2. Very cosy comfortable cottage in a wonderful location, close to the shore yet within walking distance of the Snowdonia mountain range. Enjoyed a very restful week. Sept 2011.
  3. Excellent location and idyllic setting. Wonderful experience. Nov 2010.
  4. Well equipped and clean, excellent location. June 2010.
  5. Exactly what we were looking for. May 2010.
  6. The privacy of the cottage. The peace and quiet the only noise coming from the inhabitants of the woods and the farm animals in the distance. This cottage was tailor made for us the only down side is it is going to be hard to find another one as good. We will definitely try to book this one again. The wood burning fire was the icing on the cake. It truly was like something from a film. One of the best holidays we have ever had. Our first time in Wales certainly not our last. April 2010.
  7. The setting, the woodburner, the outside space. April 2010.
  8. The cottage was extremely well-presented. It was spotlessly clean and fresh. There were lots of unexpected luxuries like the Christmas tree with lights, a wreath on the door, logs stacked under the porch, the tea tray laid out and the fire just waiting to be lit - even a welcoming bottle of wine. The kitchen was immaculate and had everything you could need, the bed linen was white and crisp and white fluffy towels were warming in the bathroom. The owner provided contact details for pharmacy etc during the Christmas period and there was plenty of tourist information in the cottage. This, and the fact that the cottage sits in a huge woodland area with no sight of neighbours, made it a delightful place to relax and unwind. Absolutely wonderful. Dec 2009.
  9. Secluded location; woodland setting; comfortably appointed. Nov 2009.
  10. Best of all its location- in its woodland setting amidst the fabulous Dysynni valley. The cottage has been refurbished with considerable care with attractive living space and cosy bedroom - for those capable of reaching it! July 2009.
  11. Pure Perfection... total escape from modern life! March 2009.
  12. We loved the location of the property, surrounded by very old and established woodland in beautiful scenery - it was truly a woodland hideaway. The cottage itself was interestingly structured and furnished well. We were not looking for a luxury interior but something functional and comfortable, it was both of these. With a lovely wood burning fire. Aug 2009.
  13. This is a fabulous cottage in the middle of a wood. Peaceful surroundings. Very comfortable just like a home from home. Feb 2009.
  14. The cottage was a tonic! The perfect place to unwind, set in glorious woodland. Jan 2009.
  15. Beautiful cottage, idyllic and amazing setting, mountains, sandy beaches, waterfalls, lakes and ruins. Perfect romantic getaway. Feb 2008.
  16. Fantastic holiday, will definitely return to that cottage. March 2008.
  17. The owners were extremely helpful and caring and the setting was fantastic. A perfect balance of secluded cottage with comfortable modern facilities. Nov 2008.
  18. Once visited you’ll be back. March 2008.
