Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. It was our 2nd stay there, the property and location is just what we like, quiet, lovely gardens in a secluded part of the countryside, with the bathrooms being downstairs it is ideal for disabled people who can access the kitchen, living room and downstairs bedroom. My mother uses a wheelchair and for it ideal, just one point it would be a lot better if a tv was provided, if the weather is bad you are confined to the cottage, we took our own as we lernet the lesson from the first visit, would certainly book again. March 2012.
  2. Just what the Dr ordered; a superb cottage that our children nicknamed Narnia. Little nooks and crannies, lovely countryside covered in fluffy white snow and views to die for. If you expect a Hilton-esque type of place then do not book Pen Y Braich. This is a getaway type of place that requires you to ’muck in’ and get on with it. We loved it and are returning in summer. Dec 2010.
  3. The cottage was exactly what I was looking for, a typical cottage in the country (not a town house). It was quaint, lots of garden space, no nearby neighbours and well equipped. Oct 2010.
  4. There was plenty of space in all the rooms and the views were breathtaking will certainly go again. Aug 2009.
  5. A superb place for peace and quiet and a view to die for, as well as a local area with plenty of interest, great scenery and within easy reach of some ’major attractions’. But hey, why not just relax, enjoy the peace, the air, the view ... and do a lot less than usual? You’ve deserved a break – this is just the place! Aug 2008.
  6. We had a wonderful stay at Pen Y Braich. It’s such a homely, cosy cottage, with plenty of space for a large family. The bedrooms are placed on two sides of the house, with separate staircases and bathrooms, allowing additional privacy. The children thought it was wonderful and enjoyed the garden and the table tennis table. There were lots of lovely books and games to play. The setting was absolutely perfect, tranquil, stunning views, plenty of wildlife, good local walks. The cottage was equipped and furnished to a high standard, in a way that the owners are obviously happy to use for themselves. It felt like home from home. The caretaker was extremely helpful and was available to answer any queries. We felt wonderfully refreshed at the end of the week and wished we could have stayed forever! Thanks so much. Oct 2008.
  7. A fantastic rural retreat. Great location for a relaxing holiday with beautiful scenery. Dec 2007.
  8. The cottage was in a supurb location and so restful. All the room were super. We would consider going again. Oct 2006.
