Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. The cottage that we stayed in was beautiful. Perfect for our needs with our 20month old. The location is perfect for bath & other surrounding areas. The owners are fantastic and there to help you with all your needs. We are planning on going back next year. Sept 2012.
  2. This is a fantastic cottage in a great location. The owner was extremely pleasant and added additional personal touches (milk, bread etc) that made the extra difference. April 2012.
  3. The highlight of our stay was David (the owner) showing our 5 year old the newborn lambs and taking a lot of time explaining to her about farming. Was a magical experience for her! Feb 2012.
  4. Cider Apple Cottage is fabulous, every detail has been thought of and it is incredibly comfortable, beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The Denbee’s are also delightful. We cannot recommend this cottage highly enough. Oct 2011.
  5. This is by far the best cottage we have stayed in in the UK. It is brilliant and Penny and David Denbee are delightful. We have everything we need, inc good mobile phone signal, and more importantly WIFI. The cottage is divine in all aspects and I could not recommend it highly enough to others. Oct 2011.
  6. It was only a 4 star but should be a 5 star, as it was perfect, clean, tidy, well worth the money. Everything there like a home from home. Sept 2011.
  7. Excellent cottage - comfortable, spacious, modern-yet-rustic, clean, well equipped (including wi-fi) and lovely dog and cows to enjoy on the farm. Aug 2011.
  8. We have not had a self catering holiday since the children where small. If all cottages where half as good as this one we could not complain. The welcome pack was very welcoming made up of all local produce David and Penny could not do enough for us. It was equipped to a very high standard with a very nice private court yard, it was a shame we could not make good use of it with the bad weather we had. Well set up for any one with a disability. Close to all the attractions Cheddar, Wookey Hole, Glastonbury and Wells. July 2011.
  9. This was a lovely, comfortable cottage in a lovely position. It’s a barn conversion and was done to a high standard, providing 2 comfortable bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms, good living space and kitchen. Adjacent private patio, providing a safe area for children to play and relaxing for adults in the evening. Local amenities - Good restaurants/pubs and small shops in nearby town of Wedmore. The only downside is that most attractions are a significant car journey away. July 2011.
  10. We had a fantastic holiday at Cider Apple Cottage. Absolutely every detail has been thought through and the owners of the property are very attentive but no intrusive! The facilities and cleanliness of the property is excellent. The location of the property is ideal for everyone. For walkers there are endless miles of countryside to walk around. For families, Weston-Super-Mere is about 25 minutes away and Longleat is about an hour. Cheddar is an excellent place to visit with small supermarkets, gift shops and great Chinese and Indian takeaways. The Riverside Inn in Cheddar is nice for lunch and evening meals for families and couples. Reasonably priced. July 2011.
  11. A really beautiful cottage with a lovely outdoor area. It was scrupulously clean and really well furnished. The kitchen had everything included, you could want and the shower was really good. June 2011.
  12. Absolutely brilliant! Will be planning another trip there soon. April 2011.
  13. Beautiful cottage in a beautiful area. Couldn’t have been better. May 2011.
  14. The accommodation at these cottages was excellent and the best we have ever stayed in. I would highly recommend them to all. March 2011.
  15. Absolutley fantastic, warm, comfortable and everything you could need. Well deserving of the Gold award. Feb 2011.
  16. The cottage is absolutely gorgeous, everything you need is provided. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. I needed a wheelchair friendly accommodation and this one was perfect. I think this should be written on the Cider Apple Cottage in the description as it will help other users. Feb 2011.
  17. The property managed to be cosy without seeming too small due to the well-thought out layout. Jan 2011.
  18. The cottage was perfect in every way... the crackling fire, welcome hamper with local produce, huge comfy beds, underfloor heating, secluded location, entertainment options (books, dvds, internet, tv, cd player), well appointed kitchen... all created a memorable stay at Cider Apple Cottage - thank you and we definitely look forward to staying again. Dec 2010.
  19. Perfect for our needs for a new year celebration - great layout. Dec 2010.
  20. Location, welcome pack (needs to be mentioned on website), beautiful furnishings, comfort and so much more. Sept 2010.
