  3. Spotless and very comfortable apart from 2nd bedroom. They can’t help noise from road, very well equipped. Sept 2011.
  4. Excellent central location for touring Kent and Sussex. Large fields behind property ideal for families. Local amenities very limited but large Tesco easy 15 minute drive. Aug 2011.
  5. Excellent comfort, magnificent views of the English countryside. Very tranquil, recommended for relaxing and visiting the surrounding areas, with lots of castles and towns with shops. London, Hastings, Maidstone, Rochester, Brighton aren’t far away. (Translated). April 2011.

  10. It was very clean and complete. The big garden was super, becuase it was good weather. It is a good place to stay to make day trips. June 2010.
  11. My husband and I thought the property was first class and is situated in the most amazing countryside. We are members of the National Trust and visited 8 NT properties in a week all very close to this cottage. In the evenings we took advantage of the large garden and enjoyed the sunshine. In our opinion Paygate Cottage has a great deal of charm and such a pleasure to come back to every day. May 2010.
  12. Small but cosy, with lots of space outside. Oct 2009.
  13. Had every thing needed for a great holiday. Geared especially for disability, home from home comforts, roads a bit noisy but cottage made up for that. Sept 2009.
  14. A quiet position, easy to get to many places in the area. The cottage was comfortable and warm plus the addition of a log fire if required. This was our first ’cottage holiday’ and we would book again in another area, for we are re-locating to East Sussex at the end of this year otherwise we would have used this cottage again. March 2006.
  15. Excellent country cottage accommodation. Warm, clean & tidy. Beautiful outlook. Good remarks all through visitors book. Intend to return. A+. March 2007.
  16. Owners were there to meet and greet - much appreciated. The access to fields at the rear of the property was fantastic for the dog, so very sad to hear no dogs allowed in future. Oct 2007.
