Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Great location every thing one needs is in the cottage. The owner was very helpful, heating at the touch of a switch ( we had very bad weather) every thing was of a very high standard. June 2012.
  2. Fantastic setting and amenities, pub grub in village pub did not live up to expectations!! All amenities working as brochure, we were lucky had fantastic weather!!!!! Bath and Wells fabulous! Driving up and down Cheddar gorge was mind blowing! Highly recommended. March 2012.
  3. The location was fantastic if you like the rural feel. Lovely walk to the local village inn, The Appletree, where you were made very welcome in a very friendly atmosphere. Paula, the owner, was a lovely endearing lady who made us feel really welcome. She even gave my partner a card on our second day there as it was his birthday which I thought was a lovely thing to do. Overall, very good, hot tub was fantastic and the cottage was very well equipped. Feb 2012.
  4. Beautiful cottage, would recommend to anyone!! Great location for exploring bath without staying in the busy town! Location very quiet but perfect for escaping from day to day life. Lots of walking in and around local villages, though lots of driving down very narrow lanes to get anywhere else. Bath around a 30 minute drive away. The cottage it’s self was perfect. Cooking and kitchen facilities had everything you could ever want. Bathroom clean and had Whirlpool bath and also had a shower over it! Cottage very clean and owner very helpful. The property dose look detached on the website but it isn’t! It is actually attached to the owners property, don’t be put off by this though as we only ever saw or heard her once during stay! Hot tub a great bonus to the property even in January!! We will most definitely be visiting again! Jan 2012.
  5. Lovely property - fabulous hot tub. Dec 2011.
  6. Excellent value for money. Great cottage in a lovely location. Owner very nice and respects privacy. Hot Tub great. Highly recommended. Oct 2011.
  7. Peaceful and tranquil. Sept 2011.
  8. The location was perfect - everything worth visiting is less than an hour away, especially Longleat which is around 10 miles. The property itself is a perfect getaway for two people. The owner is more than willing to help and is incredibly friendly, but at the same time respects your privacy. Well worth a visit, and we will definitely consider going again. Aug 2011.
  9. The bedroom is spacious and has a very firm mattress. The cottage is well equipped. The owner was friendly and helpful. There is quite a distance to the nearest shop so driving essential. Local roads are very narrow and extra caution required. July 2011.
  10. Paglinch cottage is well equiped with everything you could need. very quiet and relaxing. The cottage could of been a bit cleaner and the hot tub water needed changing. Mrs Holloway was very nice and any problems we had she was more than willing to sort out. May 2011.
  11. A lovely cottage with a wonderful owner. The surrounding scenery is beautiful, with added bonus of a jacuzzi. May 2011.
  12. Total tranquillity set in beautiful surroundings. Ideally located to explore Bath, Bristol, Cheddar and surrounding area. The cottage is well equipped with all that you will require. An added bonus is the exclusive use of the ’HOT TUB’. The owner of the cottage respects your privacy during your stay. There is also a section of the national cycle root adjacent to the property - so don’t forget to take your bike. Overall a pleasant stay in a beautiful part of England. Would recommend. April 2011.
  13. Nice accommodation tucked away in the countryside but close enough to enjoy all that Bath and the surrounding areas have to offer. Pub is not really close enough to walk (especially in winter), but the hot tub was a fun addition to the holiday. Owner was pleasant and accommodating which added to the relaxation of the trip!! March 2011.
  14. It was tucked away from it all, for a nice relaxing break! Feb 2011.
  15. The cottage was clean comfortable and very cosy, everything we needed was available to us. Feb 2011.
  16. Lovely cottage, well furnished and comfortable. Jan 2011.
  17. A well-equipped cottage in a lovely setting - very cosy for a winter break and I look forward to returning when the days are longer to explore more of the local walks etc. Rural but within easy reach of shops and other facilities. Dec 2010.
  18. Friendly owner who left us alone, but made sure we knew she was on hand if needed. The hot tub is definitely a plus for any property. Dec 2010.
  19. Very well equipped, inc 2 flat screen TV’s & hot-tub, as well as very good cooking facilities, etc. Lovely location. One of the best properties we have stayed at and we will probably go back again (a first for us!) Location is excellent, whilst in rural area it is not far to excellent take-aways & pubs & close to the city of Bath. Oct 2010.
  20. Everything, owner very polite her hot tub was great we had a wonderful time no problems what so ever, we would go back again also recommend the cottage to everybody who ask me about it. Aug 2010.
