  18. We had a fantastic break with lots of unexpected pleasant surprises! The house was immaculate when we arrived and very clean and tidy. The scones, jam and cream were very much appreciated along with the fresh flowers. The table was already laid for an evening meal and for the right number of people. There was milk, butter and bread ready waiting for us. Views from the house were amazing. It was so peaceful there, all you could hear were the birds singing, the waterfall and the deer in the woods! From the end of our garden our daughters loved to watch the guinea pigs, rabbits, ducks and chickens. It was great to be able to ’borrow’ Ben the dog to take for a walk, such a friendly animal. The owners were extremely kind, generous and helpful. There are some lovely walks to go on. We were very sad to leave as it felt so comfortable and homely there, in fact, I could easily live there. We will definitely return for another wonderful holiday. Thank you! Oct 2007.
  19. This is an absolutely lovely secluded location and every attention to detail has been taken so that you have everything you need on hand and more. Even down to daffodils planted on the hill to spell Green Hill. Lovely. April 2006.
  20. The location and surrounds were beautiful with the lovely mix of animals to keep us company. The ongoing generosity of the owners and their helpfulness was unquestionably unique! (And we have stayed in many holiday cottages over the years!). Aug 2006.
