Osprey Cottage (ref 15885) has been converted to create a super holiday retreat with rugs on polished wooden floors upstairs in the living areas, and cosy bedrooms below. Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Fantastic. Dec 2012.
  2. Superb central location in Scotland, accessible down an unmetalled track, but that was useful in itself to help keep the World out! A big feature of this property is the close abundance of deer, red squirrels and even buzzards. This was our third successive holiday here, and that is a first for us! One of the contributing reasons of the latter is the brilliant, friendly, helpful attitude of the neighbouring owners. And... there’s no mobile phone reception. Peace, perfect peace! We’ll probably be back there next year too! Aug 2012.
  3. This was our second visit to Osprey Cottage and lived up to the excellent opinion we got of it from the first time. The cottage was in a lovely peaceful location although not far from the village of Dunkeld which had a good selection of amenities available. The cottage is set in a forest clearing and we enjoyed seeing a wide variety of birdlife from the kitchen window each day and also the deer which visited most mornings and evenings. Everything we needed was provided in the Cottage and it was homely and comfortable. The owners lived on site and were very friendly and helpful if you needed anything but not overly intrusive. We would return to this cottage again. June 2012.
  4. This modern barn-conversion, accessed from the rear into the first floor, open-plan living area, provided for all possible needs, even binoculars for viewing the deer on the hill and other wildlife, reference books and files of information leaflets for sightseeing. My purpose was to see the Ospreys at Loch of the Lowes, but I found many other places of interest. The slow trip up the drive was well worth the effort each day, with roe deer often grazing in the surrounding area, and the owners were most helpful, without being intrusive. Yes, I will go back. May 2011.
  5. The cottage had everything we could possibly require for a very comfortable stay. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Jan 2011.
  6. Extremely comfortable and very well equipped. Jan 2011.
  7. Location idyllic. Cottage fabulous, decor and furnishings clean & fresh. Facilities at the cottage excellent. Owners very friendly and helpful. Everything about our visit to Osprey Cottage was 100%. We could not fault anything. The home made cake and pot of tea on our arrival was a very thoughtful touch after a long drive. Sept 2010.
  8. The perfect place to get away from it all. The only place I have stayed for a long time where there was compleat peace and quite. Wonderful wildlife and a good base to see other attactions. Sept 2010.
  9. We liked the upside-down plan. Cool bedrooms on the ground floor were perfect for the warm summer days and the upstairs living area helped us get a superb vew of the neighbouring wildlife. July 2010.
  10. what a wonderful property, easily found although secluded. if you love wildlife and peace and quiet you will love this property, the idea of being upside down house works wonderful, views from upstairs being sitting room and kitchen is great and bedrooms lovely and cool at night being downstairs. Best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in, be back next year if not before. Owners and key holders very helpful and accommodating. May 2010.
  11. Home from home. April 2010.
  12. Good location, friendly owner, high standard of accommodation. Feb 2010.
  13. Beautiful cottage in a stunning setting, lots of wildlife. Feb 2010.
  14. A lovely cosy cottage which suited our needs perfectly and is in a beautiful quiet location. The owners Heather and Lesley were really lovely, and nothing was too much trouble. They helped us no end, even getting our shopping for us from the Asda delivery driver due to the snow. Highly recommended; we plan on going back as soon as we can! Jan 2010.
  15. Lots of room and comfortable. Everything that we needed for our stay was provided. Dec 2009.
  16. Very clean, homely, modern. Dec 2009.
  17. Property very clean and had everything we needed and more e.g books, games cds. Nov 2009.
  18. Away from the road and very peaceful, owners very friendly and welcoming, after long days out touring it was a good feeling to know you were going back to the next best thing to home. Sept 2009.
  19. Very well equipped, clean, very nice owners, peaceful area with a beautiful wildlife. Aug 2009.
  20. We had a great holiday in this cottage. Beautiful scenery all around it, the owners are brilliant they have thought of everything you would need on holiday, and plenty of toys, books, cds, video/dvds to keep kids amused. All the leaflets you will need for excursions are supplied too. Basically this is the best cottage you can wish for on holiday. July 2009.
